Losing muscle?

Say if you don't work out for a few weeks, can you lose your muscle? How fast can something like this happen?

    I wouldn't worry about a few weeks. Are you on an very high calorie deficit?

    No. I wasn't speaking about me. I was just speaking in general. If I don't weight train as much as I should (3-4 times a week) I feel like I am "losing" my muscle. I feel flabbier. It might be in my head.
