I think it is shin splints but what I do about it...
When I run I get a muscle ache on the left side of my shin. It is almost more like a burn. This really slows down my progress. I am training for my first 5k in December and wondered if you guys had any advice or information about this. It gets frustrating and prevents me from really enjoying my run. Thanks for any help. !!

Question about dropped sizes
I am getting started and I hear so many people not loosing and even gaining. What keeps me interested is that dispite this they are still loving the calorie changes. Are any of you dropping pants sizes. I want to dive in but I'm afraid of doing this and being the same size in 6 months.
