@vhuber - so sorry for your loss
Finally surfaced after doing three shifts in a row so I can start my vacation early (as of 0700 today). Just staying home - or as I say when the coworkers ask where I'm going "not here."
Managed 2.2 treadmill miles and some weights at the gym. Off to a good start.

Would not have thought of this. My friend in MI always ends up using a freezer over the winter because of the cold and snow.

@KAR328 - LOL, I like that! I sure would LOVE to not "be here" at work right now...I'm working late tonight on a project that is dragging on just a bit. Hope you have a wonderful vacation and get lots of both moving and relaxing in!!!

I usually start my cycling events in early summer. Well I have decided to start 1st week of April in the Daffodil Classic in my hometown up in Washington. The route I am taking will start me up the foothills of Mt Rainier for a 30 mile route. Let the training begin
02/15 - 20.0 miles CycleOps Fluid 2 Train (a happy day to just watch a movie and pedal)
02/16 - 20.0 miles CycleOps Fluid 2 Train (training for the Daffodil Classic in beginning of April)
Total: 282.0 miles

Thank you again!! We had a beautiful day of temps of 64*. Snow is REALLY melting. Took the 2 younger grandsons for 2.5 mile walk. Little tough going through streets of thick slush. My older grandson (10 yr old) & I then went to fitness class. Picked up pizza to celebrate our ((37th)) anniversary. He forgot & I didn't feel bad cuz 37 years ago was a LONG time ago! LOL
If temps stay like this it won't be long & I can bury my fur baby!

Hi MYAers, I don't even think I set a goal this month, aack! I'd like to go for 120 miles.
My family and I live south of the Oroville dam in CA and were evacuated last weekend, kind of a stressful last week! I managed to continue getting mikes in though. They closed school for the week, so my hubs and I both being teachers had an impromptu day trip into Yosemite (which was amazing!) back home for now but still packed to go just in case. We have more storms this weekend coming in but they're confident dam has been lowered enough and they're still working 24/7 on it to repair what's needed.
