That is awesome to get only that minor jump! When I went from low carb to normal carb, I gained like 5 lbs the next day! You're doing great!

Thanks Britt! How did the low carb work for you? Are you still monitoring your carb intake? I have quit doing so now, however, I do avoid refined carbs now.

    Hey, Niha!
I did low carb back in 2013-2014 and lost about 47 pounds in 5 months. I was eating VERY low carb, though. I started off with Atkins induction, but never added back the carbs. I eventually got down to near-zero levels with only eating meat and eggs and the occasional veg. At the time, it was nice, because I didn't have to stop binging. I could put away whole pounds of bacon and steaks and all kinds of things and never gain weight. But then when I attempted to "moderately" add carbs, I was still binging because I hadn't learned how to eat, and I gained it all back in about 2 months. I obviously don't eat animal products anymore so all of my meals are pretty carb-heavy. I wouldn't say I avoid refined carbs because I still eat things like white rice, but I always try to eat organic and minimally processed. I definitely feel better when I eat foods in their whole raw state, though.
