I don't seem to have a problem with carbs, as long as they are whole foods and not junk. My carb intake averages 120 and below, I have them every day, mostly from fruits, chia seeds, and vegetables, potatoes, low carb tortillas, and for sandwiches (which I don't have often) I choose 100% whole grains. I stay away from white breads and anything with added sugars. Although, I did have potato buns the other day. :-)

One of my goals this month is to eat less than 80 gms of carbs, which apparently is working for me. I am a little nervous if eating more carbs would change the game.

    Week 5 results:
Gained at the beginning of this week. But managed to get down with a low carb diet, below 50 gms. I think the last time it didn't work for me was because of excess protien. This time I followed what @hjstewart40 is doing, 65:25:10 and sure enough, seeing results. I hope to carry on like this for a while.

    Week 6 results:
Stayed Under 50gms of carbs on most days. Could have lost more but to my periods, the weight remained stagnant for a couple of days. Still, a good week. Looking forward to consistent progress.

Water fast going pretty well. Started Sunday evening, I have customized the fast and taking tea with stevia once a day.I plan to break my fast tomorrow or Thursday if I can make it till then. Friday is my birthday and I know I shouldn't be breaking my fast that day with my birthday dinner party. So its either tomorrow or Thursday.

I broke my fast at the 76 hr mark. I could have made it till day 4 but didn't.. I broke my fast with a bowl of diced watermelon and chicken broth. Feeling good especially since I managed to break my short term plateau. Now hoping to maintain the weight loss.

I admire this greatly. Huge admiration, because I am trying to get to the same place (for health, not for dieting), and right now I find a 2-day fast is my limit, not yet conquered.

Congratulations! May it make you healthier and happier!

    Week 7 results:
Had a 3 day water fast this week which helped me break my plateau. I managed to lose around 2.5 lbs this week but my birthday dinner was loaded with carbs and this morning I am up by a pound. Nevertheless I know most if it is water weight and will go away pretty soon. Not a big loss this week but its better than no loss or weight gain :)
