Sorry I didn't get a chance to update on Friday, I have been quite the busy bee. I didn't have any movement on the scale and I also didn't have any bad days.

So I am just assuming that my body is just playing catch up!

My body seems to do the catch-up thing every 4 or 5 weeks...

    It is my Treat Day!

I am so happy with the loss this week!

I am starting something new. The idea of another disappointing "October" makes me physically ill. I am going to be updating my weight Daily for three weeks, perhaps adding what I have eaten aswell. I need to be held accountable, so I can get off this lazy train. So I will update daily until Dec 1st.

Thank you so much Tracy. I just feel like I am getting so complacent that I am letting things slide. Kicking myself into gear!

I think you have the right approach. The more we pay attention to detail the more accountable we can be and the more success I think we will have (as long as we make good decisions based on the data collected). Congrats on your loss!

I totally agree, I have just gotten to comfortable with it all. I am sure it will be fine in maintenance, but HEY! I am trying to lose weight here, not maintain it.

Go for it! I like the idea of daily reporting in Sammy. When trying to lose it doesn't just happen automatically, we must stay focused and persistent and sometimes push ourselves a little.

Good idea... I definitely find that daily reporting helps me. And daily weighing.

    Day 1 of 21 - 186.7

Gained two pounds from yesterday’s treat day. So let’s break down what I had yesterday.

2 breakfast burritos plus salsa (300)
    Half a cinnamon roll (150)
Six piece buffalo wings (boneless) with ranch (600)
Bag of salt and vinegar chips (130)
Two pieces of pizza and four cheese dippers (1000)

So my treat day was around 2200 calories. So it was a total reset. I haven’t stepped on the scale after a treat day and I don’t think I like it. I know I couldn’t have really gained two pounds overnight but it was still disappointing to actually see it.

I think I will leave the treat days out of this three week challenge.

Here’s to the learning curve and the amazing support of all of you.

Thanks Sarah and Jim! I want to be as intensely interested in the whole process as I was in the beginning, and seeing how others keeps on track has helped me form this plan! Y’all are awesome!
