Oh yes I will! I've had a blessed day today...

I started my decluttering this morning at my desk area....and have my 5-20 minute chore list in 3 different places as a reminder that I can do SOMETHING....towards my goals at any time. I got trash out, dishwasher unloaded/reloaded and run and then my desk area tasks. I found a LOT of my hearing aid batteries and 2 new check ledgers but no ink for the printer so will need to order that.

Our cold front has arrived and it dropped from 50 down to 33 in just 2 hours. I am chilled in here and have been all day. My thermostat says 74 but it feels like 64 to me...and yep, that's too chilly!

I did a burger and fries in the air fryer for breakfast....lunch was left over soup I made a few days back. I added more no salt broth to make it sippy .

I discovered this morning that I could see/read my small print devotional book, and it was my glasses. I had to check them with a magnifying glass and they are 1.75...and the ones I had at the office. Oh my....the others are 1.25! So, I may order a couple more pairs in the 1.75 and donate my weaker ones. They have served me well but it's time to move up a notch or two apparently!

@Bren5535 - you made me smile when you mentioned the temperature and feeling cold. We are just coming out of a an extreme cold snap which lasted 2 weeks with - 30 F and right now while typing this message it is 23F but feels like 10 F so we feel blessed that it is that warm. Don't get me wrong - I like it to be much warmer but it feels so much better today then it did 2 days ago. Jack Frost was on our screen door for 2 weeks and was not nice - and hubby was finding that having to scrape the ice of the windows of the car a chore - but he has learned through all of the years of cold weather that in the winter he goes out about 15 minutes early to get the snow and ice off the car, turn it on and let it run for about 10 minutes if he wants me to go someplace with him in the cold.

I was on plan for food yesterday and so happy about that. Was tempted before going to bed to have some cheese but then thought about it and my commitment to the Lord that I would only eat what I had written down so I held fast and just went to bed. Glad that stay on plan as I don't like being disobedient to the Lord as I don't relish his judgement for not doing what is right.

Anyway have my food written down for today, talked to the Lord before eating breakfast and once again committed to eat only what I have written down. Yesterday I was also able to walk getting in the steps on my pedometer that I wanted plus an extra 25.

Along with my paper food journal I have listed things that I want to do each day making it a habit. They include: (1) daily devotions meaning I listen to one of the past sermons from our church plus my devotional reading from The Daily Bread (2) I listen to a couple of videos from the Boot Camp I am doing with my food plan - am on week 3 and there are 10 weeks. So this gives me the support to make sure I hold fast to my food for the day (3) I write down 'steps walked?? and put the number in before I go to bed (4) I list one thing I am grateful for the day.

On the flip side of the paper (I have lined paper from the store think it is 8 x 11 with 3 holes down the side so it fits into a binder) I write down the temperature of the morning, then anything is special about the say or that I need to get done. I also include anyone that I have called to encourage them re spiritually or food wise - this consists of actual phone calls as I believe that it is so important that we actually call to give encouragement - and of course there is the encouragement from coming to groups like this one.

Well breakfast has been eaten, we went to church hearing a great sermon, lunch is cooking (left over chicken - 4 oz from last night - along with 1/2 cup of rice with corn mixed in it and a granny smith apple. For supper I am having 4 oz of roast beef, 4 oz roasted potatoes, 2 oz roasted turnip, 2 oz roasted green peppers, 4 oz frozen peas and corn and drink of choice for the day is my regular 90 oz of water.

Now it is time for me to get up and walk the house 4 times before lunch is finished cooking.

Wow, I missed a lot. Woohoo, Bren! Praise the Lord, now you can concentrate on healing!

We are looking for a place that can take better care of Mom than we are able to at this point. With both dementia and having to meet pretty much all of her physical needs, it's just too much. Please be praying that the Lord will lead us to the right place. Thanks so much.

Love y'all. Hope this new year sees us all closer to the Lord and trusting Him in these uncertain days.

I surely am, Kim! My foot is better again but the shoulder and back pain are troublemakers. I am blessed to have the time to do what I need to do for healing and recovery.

You guys will certainly be in my prayers. I know this isn't an easy phase but it is necessary. May God open doors and make provision for each need ahead.

We had a cold front move in Saturday. Got down to 17 but no ice/snow. Oh yay! I went out yesterday to a bright, sunny, beautiful and clear 26 degrees. Got my check in the bank and grabbed breakfast.

One of my sweet mama cats has been a regular visitor of late and someone sneak fed her a couple of times so now there are 3 babies maybe 2 months old, 2 solid black and beautiful, a tortie like her and a teenager tortie twin to her this morning. There are 4-5 of them, just like her. There were 5 kitties out there this morning. My heart hurts for them.
She stays aside and lets the babies have any food the uhm "feeder" might have for them. She's the tortie...looks like her Mom and has the teen that looks just like her. She will be 2 years old in March and is the only survivor of 4 babies I helped her mama deliver under my table outside my door. They are beautiful.

I'm down to coffee enough for 2 pots so will make an order today for pick up. I have some pods in there...1 pot makes 4 cups for me but they are pecan pie and pumpkin spice. I found the one donut shop one and I used it this morning. It's so nice to be able to do AM pick ups now instead of after work ones.

Have a blessed day all...Love and prayers for this new day...

Rough night last night but I still need to start my walking again. Will do my house walking this afternoon.

Mom had a therapy session today, not as good as previous sessions. I need to do better in getting her to exercise each day. Thank you so much for your prayers, I don't know what I would do without the strength, patience and love the Lord gives each day.

Thought that picture above was so cute.

All is well with me considering everything. Our pipes in our kitchen sink froze on December 31 due to the extreme cold (we had it go down to -25F for over a week) The hot water worked but no cold. It thawed yesterday so now we have water but the sink is not draining properly so we believe there is still ice in the pipes - so leaving the cupboard doors open to let more warmth get in their and doing a lot of praying that all will be thawed out soon. The weather is warming but will not be above freezing (32 F) till next week so we might be without the sink for longer than we want. So for now we are filling up a large container with water to wash the dishes and to rinse, then dumping the water down the toilet as the kitchen sink takes to long to drain. Oh how we miss our dishwasher. We had called out a plumber for yesterday but it had thawed so we cancelled it. Just to come and tell us that the pipes are frozen was going to cost us $194 so we are working on being patience - letting the warmth / heat to do its job and warm up the pipes.

Today was my 1st meeting for the year at TOPS. My last weigh in for 2021 was on December 21 and today it showed that in 2 weeks I had a gain of 0.4 pounds = am pleased with that as that was over Christmas and New Years. The weight recorder gave out the months rewards for December. I was awarded top loser for December with 9.2 pounds which makes me feel good. Then for the 2021 I was awarded a certificate for losing 14.2 pounds from September 7 through December 28. So am feeling good about my progress but still have a long way to go. We also set another 12 week challenge (me encouraging them that this is necessary) which will go from January 4 through April 5. Most of the ladies pledged to lose 5 pounds but I once again pledged 12 pounds as I did that on the last 12 week challenge and I see no reason why I can't do it again. With the daily coaching calls I get from my food plan (BLE program) I am sure that I will be able to make this goal (and truthfully am hoping I will lose closer to between 18 - 20 pounds. With the walking I am now doing and following my food plan I know that this can be done - had talked to many that have so I want to be included in the number of those that have.

In what areas of your life are you standing on the shifting sands of disobedience to Him?

We had no water last night until 8 PM...and you know I was so thirsty! I considered going to Sonic for a Route 44 iced water but that would have required getting dressed to shoes and driving....so I melted 2 bowls of ice in the microwave instead...and added bottled water to my pick up list for today at Wal-Mart.

Praise the Lord we didn't get that cold and we have well water, so unless the power goes out we are alright (pump to get the water out of the well runs on electricity). We have a lot of bottled water too, so we should be alright as far as thirst goes.

Love the picture, Marilyn! It was the first thing that popped up when I went to this page - what a pleasant surprise. Congrats on the weight loss.

I didn't weigh this morning, bad night with Mom being up and calling for us through most of it. Poor baby, her clock is backwards now and can't conceive of how her being up all night is affecting us. I never imagined this would be so hard. If it were physical or mental alone we could handle it, but both at the same time is brutal. Jesus is seeing us through though and giving us strength and wisdom beyond ourselves. Thank You, Lord!

    Am doing ok considering everything.

December 30 the cold water in our kitchen sink froze, though the hot water worked. Sink would not drain properly either. Ensuite show no hot water and would not drain. All other taps worked - washed and main bath. This past Monday we got cold water in the kitchen but still would not drain. And yesterday it froze again. So it is now 8 days of having frozen pipes. To have a plumber come out just to look it will cost $194 so we are waiting patiently for the weather to warm up enough for the pipes to clear and unfreeze.. Last night we were hit with a snow warning - got up to 8 inches new snow. At the coast (Vancouver BC Canada) they have record amount of snow overnight and not it is raining - freezing rain making the roads impossible to either drive or walk on. As to when we will see above freezing weather - not till middle of next week - if we are lucky. Now as for how cold it is 5 F but it feels like -8F and that is warm considering how it was a few days ago (last weekend it was -10F feeling like -30F). Now take into consideration what the province has gone through in the last 6 months. Summer of 2021 (starting in June) extreme heat wave getting up over 100 F for over a week at a time), then wildfires which destroyed 2 towns, and evacuating many people. Wildfires continued through September. In November came the flooding - more then 7 feet deep destroying all chickens, eggs, vegetables that were about to be harvested and thousands upon thousands of cattle - these people are still dealing with this devastation. And now this cold wave - So where I live we have seen devastation for more than 1/2 of a year - many people have lost everything - their home, their business and are still not sure where they will relocate as they have not gotten the ok to go back to look over things that might be salvaged. So ladies please in your prayers, as you pray in general for all of the world, remember us here in British Columbia Canada - we are really just wanting a bit of an improvement. I am 73 and have never seen this much damage all within 6 months. And add to that covid and all the deaths, hospital staff leaving their jobs because they can't handle it any more - we need to pray a lot that people will remember what it really means to be a Christian - we need to reach out and do what we can for our neighbors whether they believe the same as we do or not - so kindness rather than pulling apart. Anyway enough preaching.

Am doing well, on my plan of healthy eating, have my goals outlined for January and am stepping forward each day to take steps forward with respect to my spiritual health, my mental healthy and my physical health.

    Colossians 3:13
Forgive as the Lord forgave you.

**Consider a time when you were quick to criticize a friend or a stranger. What was the result? What could you have done differently to honor God and the individual?

I got a notice on my door about my past due electric bill and a balance due on my rent...so I printed out the transactions from my bank. The electric bill cleared on December 30th and the rent was auto drafted on 1/3...so hope they get it all sorted. In my 25 years here, I have never once been late so I'll not fret much over their discrepancy.
I had a good, busy day yesterday and plan a re-run today. The more I get done, the better I feel.

Kim, your mention of the protein drinks reminds me of my stash of Premier shakes in there that I need to use! I may need a reminder on my fridge!
Yesterday, I had roasted veggies twice...a gold tater, onion, yellow squash and some sweet tater at dinner. I did 5 jalapeno poppers as well. Very tasty. The 2 sandwiches were overkill...one at lunch and one at dinner.
I need to eat some salad today with my cucumber salad topper....perhaps another round of the roasted veggies and a turkey burger, grilled. I think I may cook 4 of them so I have a ready protein without further messing up anything.

I plan to do some laundry this weekend. Then very soon, I can start my downsizing and release a lot of stuff. I have mopping on my wish list. I'll see what I can get done today! I am really enjoying my days of "ease"....I am so blessed! Love y'all...Prayers for us all in this new and wonderful day.

We are still under a cold front - and it is not nice. The coast of British Columbia Canada has gotten close to a foot of snow and that just doesn't happen and now it is raining - but the rain is freezing before it hits the ground so most city roads are closed or very little traffic as it is just to dangerous. For us in the interior we are under the cold freeze - our cold water in the kitchen sink and in the ensuite shower froze on December 30 and still has not thawed. Will run hot water but not cold but won't drain so using that shower is closed and washing dishes has resorted to doing them in a large bin and dumping the water down the toilet from our main bathroom which is working -thankfully. So we are able to use one bathroom and the washing machine but to be honest I am tired of this - the anxiety and stress is far to high and I am constantly in pray letting my God know that I know He is in control but could He please bring the weather up above the freezing point so we can have water properly. In 38 years of marriage this has never happened so I guess there is a 1st for everything. Right now the temperature outside is 16F but it feels like 3F and the wind is around 40 mph so the snow is flying all over the place. Though it is really cold (anything under 32F is cold but 16 F feels warm as we have had 10 days of it being down to -25F just a few days ago.) I am happy that it is starting to get warmer. But it can't come soon enough - and I guess when it does we will complain that the snow is melting to fast.

Food wise all is well. Stayin on plan. Have had to make a few modifications to get through a couple of meals but am holding tight. One meal a couple of days was a hamburger from a fast food restaurant - hubby brought it home - then I took it apart and just ate the meat and the toppings and threw out the bread. Am having our one hamburger patty for lunch today with 1 slice of cheese along with 1/4 cup of rice with corn and a Japanese orange. Yesterday hubby and daughter thought they would like Chinese food - not a good choice especially with all the sauces they put on - far to much salt. I just listened to a video from the program I am doing and she talks about eating Chinese food and how it can be down and still have a healthy meal with out all the salt and sugar. So next time I am going to be better prepared - actually next time we will make our own so I can give it a try and see how we like it - we are so used to having the 'taste' that is presented in the restaurant and that 'taste' is geared to make us want to eat more.

Today is my 'baby' 33rd birthday - she lives at home due to being special needs and tonight she is going to go to respite for the weekend - the family that takes her does so many things and loves to celebrate her birthday and she will be going out and sledding weather permitting. So for lunch we are having homemade hamburger patty as I have mentioned and rather than a cake we have 3 cupcakes - one for hubby, and she will have 2 as I don't want the sugar or flour from it.

Well, time to get up and move some before heating up the lunch (it is left overs from last night).

I had a rest day yesterday, after hurting myself on Friday. This ol' girl needs to watch herself, doing heavy lifting.
Wow, Marilyn, you inspire me....with your handling of whatever comes at you...weather wise and other wise. I'd be crying at the cold, ice, frozen pipes etc. I know tears would be wasted at such circumstances but I'd cry anyway. I'm so thankful for comforts of my apartment and the fact I can now stay in when needed.

I did a packet meal last night with my cut up veggies and a Tilapia filet. It was delicious. However, I think just baking would be better as the steaming still made a mess of my pan, transferring to my plate. I've enjoyed my roasted veggies the past 3 days and added sweet potato chunks a couple of times. Had frozen meatballs at lunch yesterday. I need to do up some salads today so I don't waste my pretty produce.

So grateful that I know the Lord as my personal Savior - dealing with all that is happening right now would be difficult without knowing that He is in control. I just need to keep remembering not to lean on my taking control but to let Him due what He does with encouraging me to do what is right for me to do - make sense?

@Brene5535 - you mentioned roasted vegetables. Love them roasted. I have several friends that are doing the same meal plan that I am doing and once a week they roast enough vegetables for the week and then measure them out into containers for the week. I used to do that years ago especially when the kids where little but don't so much anymore. We do do batching of things like spaghetti sauce, homemade chili and homemade soup - used to make a lot of casseroles but as I am not having sugar or flour have gotten out of that but might look at some of the recipes to see if they can be modified. But roasting enough vegetables for 3 days is a good idea - working on getting hubby to do that and he is starting to see the sense to it - but he is still not sure re roasted vegetables. They are really good in salads and so good to have them ready rather than not and then turning to something that is not the best choice.

I started my walking on January 1. I do use a walker for when out and about and must say I don't like it but I need it as I need to 'sit' so often due to pain. But in the house I can get around not to bad but need to break it down into very small chunks and am working on trying to increase it. Anyway when January started I thought I would set the goal of 500 step to be counted (using my pedometer) for sure each day. Well for the 1st 7 days I was able to do so, and I accumulated 3,663 which gives me just over 1.50 miles. So for the next 7 days (January 8 through 14) I am increasing the daily goal to 600 to see what happens. Got it in yesterday and will get it in today. I am feeling good that I made it through one week - setting a goal of 'just do it for 7 days' is working for me. And my joints are liking me a lot better because of this one change.

Have a good day / evening ladies

Staying on track with my eating but not much in the way of exercise, other than caring for Mom. I don't think about weighing every day because I am often propelled out of bed by a call from Mom and it's full steam ahead from there, weighing doesn't come to mind until nearly lunch time!

Please continue to pray. God is blessing and is so very near.

Today I got weighed at my TOPS meeting - am up 1.6 pounds which is not nice. But with the frozen kitchen sink now for 14 days my cortisol levels are high - but that is changing today as I am back on track with eating and going to make sure January is a good month for weight loss.

Changing up my food for breakfast a little - usually have 2 hard boiled eggs but when I look at the cholesterol on them when I log in just the eggs it comes to 326 mg and they say we should have no more than 300 mg so will either have to have one egg and maybe some oatmeal to deal with this issue. So tomorrow will be day one of changing up breakfast. Need to have a look at shredded wheat spoon size to see if it fits into my program and what the nutrients in it come out to.

Have been getting in my walking so far and am happy about it. Goodness, though I have finished my lunch I am feeling like I should still be eating and am dealing with saying no thank you - praying I will get through to dinner without eating as I don't do snacks and don't want to get into having a snack after all the work I have done to make that change.

Hope you ladies are doing well.

Marilyn - I had to pretty much quit the eggs due to cholesterol, but I do buy egg whites (no cholesterol) and have it half and half with an egg - scrambled or in an omelet. The guys in the house are getting used to it, too. I have read that you should add a drop of yellow food coloring to it, that it makes the color more appealing, but I don't fool with it.

I love the egg beaters...already yellow. I got the plain whites once in error and it was a bit off putting...should have mixed a regular egg with it. Makes me wonder where all the yolks go? Dog food, bakeries?

I did a new thing today and it was delicious. I had half a pack of turkey burgers (4) in the fridge. That's how they are stacked...
I cooked one in the air fryer for a burger....yum! and the other 3, I mushed up with an egg, oatmeal, catsup and about 1/3 of a packet of reduced sodium meatloaf seasoning. Forgot to add onion. Both were delicious. Like Kim has told me often...protein is filling and I haven't been scarfing up misc. items today. Hooya. I have a small 4 cup muffin tin and I got 4 muffin size meat loafs from the 3 patties.

I have ground pork on order at WM and will do another meatloaf using some of that. The pork is $2.92 a pound and the beef is $4.38.

My insulin and a couple other meds are ready so I'll snag those tomorrow when I go do my pick up order. My Levemir is $598...but we're starting a new year/deductible. Ouch....

I'll do more of the turkey too. I too, am supposed to do little to no beef and that's about what I do. I do have one roll of HB in the freezer, waiting for an inspired moment. I have to watch beans too (potassium) but I love me some beans! That too, has to be on the "occasional" list. I sure liked the Tilapia I had the other night and have more of that and the salmon in the freezer. Dinner last night was a can of soup and an orange.

My collections/release thing is going pretty well. The first lady needed scrubs for work and I only had 1 top...so the clothes tub is going to the next lady who wanted them. She's to pick up this morning.

I gave away my mini trampoline, jump rope, 5# weight set (they felt like 15 pounds each to this weak girl) and the never used 21 day diet container set....what with my limited mobility/stability, I wasn't using the trampoline, tho I do love it. I'll still use my stability ball (love it too) and yesterday I pulled out one of my bands and used it some last night.

I have another lady coming for a bag of plastics! She was looking for meal prep things and I asked if she'd take them all off my hands. I have plastic containers enough for 12 people. Hoard much? I have a 30 gallon bag full but will sort them this morning and make sure I have lids for them all etc.

Today, I'll spiff up since the bug man is to do his thing tomorrow. I will sort and prepare laundry for tomorrow as well. Each time I use that word, I am reminded of the Winan's song....Tomorrow....who promised you tomorrow....
Here's the evidence against me...testing my ability to take pictures/post again after my phone crash of last year. I posted on the give away site....6 loads of laundry...anyone want it? LOL ( I meant...anyone want to DO it?) It will be much neater when I sort the baskets. I have 3 overflowing baskets on wheels. I love those things. I used to drag laundry around in a big tub with a rope tied on it. Rolling is easier than dragging.

Oh dear, Bren, that is a passel of laundry! I am doing a load mixed with mine and Mom's every other day. Wade does his own! Bless that man!

I haven't used the Egg Beaters in quite a while, but Wade just tells me to crack the eggs and use the whites and pitch the yolks. We have friends who raise chickens and are able to get our fresh eggs from them for free! I'm going to make a chaffle for lunch today.

Still not walking. I got over 3,000 steps yesterday just moving around the house getting stuff done for Mom. She keeps me in shape!!! Please continue to pray that we are able to find the place the Lord would have us to place her. Last night she got out of bed and walked to the door to call for us (without her walker)! Yikes! Kind of gave herself away through, if she can do that, she's strong enough to not need her transport chair to get around the house, so we've been using her walker today. It's much better for her to be walking anyway!

Thanks for your prayers. I'll try to be more consistent about getting on, but that all depends on how the day is going with Mom. Love y'all.

Yes it is! I think I might lust for a washer and dryer more than I do lots of lovely hair, but it is what it is. I am thankful we have a laundry room on site, but it requires a lot of me to get to it...and use it. This would be me...3 times a week currently...
    bxv3io6dbld7.jpg

I did get it all sorted yesterday and will attempt a run today tho I am in immense pain. Once I get it in...I HAVE to finish! I need 4 runs to catch up, will give away a bunch more stuff to pare down and get control over this huge task in the time ahead.. One tub at a time.

Today's pain is new and ragged! I did 60 bounces on my stability ball yesterday...and it feels like the equivalent of 60 squats.... in my thighs! Oh help me, Jesus!

That's a good thing, if she's able to use the walker...prayers for safety and provision in the time ahead...for her and you guys. This girl needs to do more walking too....and I am ready.

Continued prayers for all of us in this new day .....I am so very grateful to have it.

I've been getting around 3,000 steps a day without doing a walk, just up and moving for Mom. My watch has a get up and move every hour challenge and I've been at 200% the last several days. That is a good challenge for ourselves. Set a timer for one hour and get up and walk to another room at the very least, or do one lap around the house, by the time you go to bed you've probably done 10-12 laps around your house.

We have the ball moving on a couple of facilities in town. If they can't take her we will look farther afield - we just can't keep this up! Maybe if we were in our 30's, but our bodies just can't take what it takes to take care of her! Wow, lots of takes there! heeheehee! Yes, I'm old and wearing out myself, I admit it!

    Love y'all.

Kim, I know what you mean for sure. It was 9 years ago when I was doing for Mom, only on my off days...and I was still working, taking care of my own things as well. My care giving was light compared to your 24/7 routine and I know I couldn't do any of that now. My laundry pile is evidence enough. Prayers for the right and perfect doors to open promptly! Hugs...

I did get round one of my laundry done yesterday without crying or a lot of squealing but boy was it painful! I'll keep moving today to help heal the pain somewhat. I did take Tylenol twice yesterday and will again today.

My bedroom is cluttered with the bags of things I brought home from the office and need to sort/put away. I don't walk outside much other than my wee walks currently...to get mail, bring things in from the car etc. but do get some movement in each time I get up...that 60 ball moves was one of such and as puny as I am, I should have stopped at 30....

I'm going for my first cup of coffee, will get my charts caught up and my plan for the day done. Love and prayers....

Well we have a kitchen sink - finally. Plumber was out yesterday morning for 1.5 hours - it was a clog not ice. Said with the extreme cold that everyone was having this same problem. Dish soap leaves a film in the pipes and the only way to keep it from not hardening in the pipes is to pour straight hot water down the pipes at least once a month which in turn will keep the grease soft so that regular water can rinse it away. So that is what we will be doing.

Need to get back on plan - so far off yesterday and today - feel all bloated and that is not good. But when I get back on track 100% it will work itself off.

We had 2 rounds of company today which was nice but it has tired me out. Thankfully my house is in order, all laundry washed, dried and put away, floors swept, everything dusted. And tomorrow is another day to work at doing it all over again - never a day of not doing some kind of cleaning - guess that is something all women seem to be doing - so thankful that years ago I learned about decluttering - now we have just the necessities in the house and even that seems like a lot to take care of - and am so grateful that I have a hubby that will help out with some of the chores. He gets frustrated with me though when I get him to move the living room furniture away from the walls so that all the floors can be taken care of - especially the fridge and stove. I get him to move the furniture in the living room every 6 weeks to remove dust bunnies and the fridge and stove every 3 months. But even he is glad when it is done because when I used to leave it longer it would take longer to clean but now the biggest part is just moving the furniture the cleaning around it is simple then. But the older I get it seems the more difficult it is so it might be time to get someone to come in and do it for us but that is more money out

Anyway enough about that - time just to relax - need to work on the Bible study that I am starting with a group on Monday.

Oh yay...so glad your sink is functional again. Some things in life, we don't give a lot of thought to, until it becomes a problem.

I mostly rested again yesterday. I did make a nice bot of soup...need to add more broth today as I ran out of room in my pot. Today, the pain is lessened and I am grateful. I have an order to pick up at HEB and things to do in here towards restoring order.

I'm waiting on my 1099 from SS to do my taxes. Next year I won't have to pay in since SS will be all I'll have as income. I am so very thankful for God's provision for all my needs and need to live well within my means.

Kim...I hope you guys are OK at your spot. I see on the weather channel where many places have thousands without power already. Prayers for all in the path of storms now and in the time ahead.
