My awesome NSV-I did chisel endurance today (which I should have done Sunday) and did Incline push-ups for 1 minute straight 2 times. I am sticking with getting the elliptical in. I use it more as a cool down and it feels good.

Took a wrong turn & ran an extra km! The running gods rewarded me for all of my running in terrible conditions. We have a thaw going on here in Toronto, so sunny and warmish. Ran with no ice grips! I am looking forward to my glass of wine tomorrow, as it is officially part of this training plan!

    Never miss a Monday!!

Ok, my plan for this week:

Monday-chisel balance and 10 min ab Chisel
Tuesday-Max Hammer strength (or Hammer build up if it doesn't require a medicine ball) and 15 min leg Hammer
Wednesday-total body Chisel and 10 min ab Chisel
Thursday-ISO speed power and 15 min leg Hammer
    Friday-ISO strength Chisel
    Saturday-3 day Yoga retreat-Day 3
    Sunday-off

It's supposed to be warm this week and I a really hoping to get in some serious walking if it's not raining. Maybe I will even attempt my 2 hour interval walk/run that I haven't done since last summer. Looking forward to a good week. :)

Howdy ladies my week is looking like:

Monday: p90x2 chest and back and ab ripper x2 Done
    Tuesday: plyocide and Sprint drills
    Wednesday: rest
Thursday: shoulders and arms and ab ripper x2
Friday: 2 mile run and yoga x2
Saturday: base and back and ab ripper x2 and 2 mile run

Strength time. Also starting a greens challenge. This week I'm going to eat the most greens I ever have in my life. Plan on logging everyday too. Start my 90 day commitment today to get right for the summer. Hope y'all have a great week at work and in the gym.

    • Saturday after work : Rest ? Nope, Hammer-Build-up and 15minLeg Hammer
    • Sunday morning : Max Hammer Strength Nope, switched with saturday to a rest day

Alright, so this week looks like this for me:
    • Monday after work: Total Body Chisel
    • Tuesday after work: Iso speed Hammer
    • Wednesday after work: Iso strength Chisel
    • Thursday after work: Hammer conditioning
    • Friday morning: Chisel Cardio
    • Saturday morning: Total Body Hammer
    • Sunday: Rest

Bianca, yes the bonus workouts use a medicine ball. But I have been doing them with a 7 pound weight. I did get myself a medicine ball yesterday though.

Lisa, I love your adjusted plan ! This is real life right ? Adapting our workouts to the other things in our week is what we must all do. By planning them ahead of time rather than trying to make time here and there, we succeed. Where are you going ? You mentioned a beach....

Scotty, in just a few weeks, you'll have partners on the P90X train.... GO green ! lol

    And finally...
    Look what I did yesterday.
    :p
I am so so so so happy. I've been dreaming about a treadmill for a long time and now the timing is right. I go me a treadmill in my Super Workout Studio ! I seriously couldn't be happier !

Like I told Bianca.... funny that I am not rewarding myself with food but with workout equipment. Tastes sooooooo much better ! LOL Who is this girl ???

Did chisel balance and ab chisel this morning and was just not feeling it. I wasn’t at 100% and I could have put more effort into it. My Fitbit confirmed it when I burned only 119 calories in 50 minutes.

That last move in chisel balance is killer! That one handed, one legged balancing act with the pistol quad at the end. After 7 of those, my leg is on fire and I just can’t continue without shaking it out. I hope to one day be able to do all 15 on each leg without stopping. I will get there eventually.

Hopefully tomorrow I am feeling a little more “into it”.

I have not yet been able to do 15 of those in the allotted time. I too have to shake it out at one point, if not a couple times. I also fall out of it here and there and have to get back to it. It's no joke that thing !!! I am also dripping sweat by that point.
How boring would it be if we could master all these exercises on the first try. Pfffft. Nawhhhh. Struggling is where it's at ! We're all in this together B ! <3

Also, you should check out post on here about calculating calories burned when strength training. It was a complete eye opener when I did it...

Wait I'll try and find it :/

Monday - 3 km tempo run

Tuesday - 4 km steady run
Wednesday - 7 km long run
Thursday - 3 km steady run, strength train core & arms
    Friday - Rest
Saturday - Rest on the beach!

Have been focusing more on core workouts when not running. Turns out, it is really helping with my form and endurance during runs, uphill in particular. This is something I am going to research a bit more. If any of you have advice, let me know!

Krystina, we are going to Barbados on Friday! Bringing my running shoes with me, so stay tuned. I may literally be a melting beach body in that heat!

So today I woke up and made a pot of coffee and though I should just relax. I had been out of town last weekend and I really didn't want to workout at all. I logged on and saw there were 8 new posts from my Melting Beachbody friends. Just so you know you all give me the motivation I need. Got the stikethough I needed to start my week. Thankful!

    Last Week
Monday- Chisel Endurance- 20 minutes elliptical
    Tuesday- Total Body Hammer <3
    Wednesday- off
    Thursday-Hammer Conditioning/ P90x XStretch
Friday- Chisel Agility 20 minutes elliptical
Saturday- Chisel Cardio 20 minutes elliptical
    Sunday-off

This Week - So I have been totally good stressing-but it is leading to horrible eating. Heading to the Minnesota State High School Girls Hockey Tournament this week to watch my daughter! Couldn't be more excited.

I think I messed up my schedule next week so I'm following Bianca

Monday- Chisel Balance + 20 minutes elliptical
    Tuesday- Max Hammer Strength
    Wednesday- Total Body Chisel
    Thursday- off
Friday-???? hopefully something at my hotel
Saturday ???? hopefully something at my hotel
    Sunday- Iso Speed Hammer

@bianca616 I had the same day as you Bianca.. I really struggled through chisel balance. I have never even been close to being able to do all those pistol squats. AYE it is so hard.

Thanks Jamie! State hockey tournament, very exciting! Best of luck to your daughter and her team!! Am a hockey mom as well, and it can be really stressful (fun, but stressful)!
