Pheeewwww.... I am so exhausted .... I had a massively stressful day and did not have a chance to eat a thing until 4:30 again--- not the way I had planned to fast the past two days--- but I guess it works--we'll see tomorrow when I weigh in.

A short week is always so much more stressful for me--bc all of the 5 days gets slammed into my Wednesday and Thursday. The good news is that I'm done early tomorrow---2pm!! I really need it... I have been trying to control my stress eating--and so far so good.

That's this week's NSV for me--- controlling the emotional/stress eating.

What's your NON-SCALE VICTORY this week been?

    AFTERNOON TEAM
    FYI
DID YOU KNOW THAT LISTENING TO MUSIC CAN HELP EXERCISE FEEL EASIER AND IT MAY EVEN BOOST YOUR SPEED. SONGS WITH 120-140 BPM (BEATS PER MINUTE) APPEAR TO HAVE THE BIGGEST MOTIVATING EFFECT.

Hey! How do you post an image. When I copy and paste, a whole bunch of gibberish comes up! :(

Anywho, I am checking in. Stayed within my personal macros yesterday. Got all the major food groups in without the assistance of candy. Yay! I workout pretty much 5 or more times a week but I don't count steps. At least not yet.

Way to go to all the steppers!!!

    Weigh in day: Friday
    SW: 164.3
    CW: 165.1

This should be worse for the stress and lack of sleep and exercise in my life since August 16.

    Since then I have:
    Moved a kid to college
Had an employee quit while I was off doing that
    Had a migraine
Had my dad on IV antibiotics and O2 for pneumonia
    My radiator sprang a leak
My 13 year broke the frames on his glasses
    My dryer's motor died and
    My cell phone died

I still need a new hire and my dryer is not fixed, but the new motor came yesterday so Denni will fix it this weekend.
Everything else is replaced or improving.
    Sorry for disappearing on y'all.

Greg, my dad is back to his new normal, which is lower than his old normal. He is 86, that's to be expected.

Everything else is on track except finding a new employee. Until then, I am on overtime doing my work and hers. What else can I do?

I will find time to exercise though. I can't take the stress without it.

    Friday - September 6: I’m Grateful for..

BACK IN FEB 2015 WHILE AT WORK.. I FELT A SHARP PAIN COMING FROM MY MY BACK... I FALTERED AND HIT THE DECK FACE FIRST IN FRONT OF 25 STUDENTS,,,,, 911 WAS CALLED AND SO WAS MY WIFE WHOM WAS TEACHING AT HER SCHOOL WHICH THANKFULLY WAS ON THE SAME CAMPUS.
MY BOSS TOLD ME THAT I NEEDED TO GET A DOC'S PERMISSION TO RETURN TO WORK AS A CHEF ... ON OUR WAY HOME MARCIE ASKED ME IF I WANTED TO GO HOME OR TO MORTON TO THE HOSPITAL.... I SAID THE HOSPITAL AND PUT THE PEDAL ON THE FLOOR.... 3 HOURS LATER I WAS AIRBORNE IN A MED E VAC CHOPPER HEADING FOR A TRAUMA CENTER IN OLYMPIA,WA.
DIAGNOSES....UNDETERMINED AT THIS TIME OTHER THAN BLACK SPOT ON MY KIDNEYS AND LIVER THE SIZE OF A BAKED POTATO....
WENT INTO EMERGENCY SURGERY AFTER THE BACK OF MY LIVER BLEW OUT...
DIAGNOSES. DIVERTICULITIS... THE ENTIRE CAVITY OF ABDOMEN INCLUDING EVERY MAJOR ORGAN IS INFECTED... I DIED TWICE ON THE TABLE IN A 7.5 HOURS OF SURGERY... 3 TRAUMA SURGEONS.. A GI SURGEON..THE CHIEF SURGEON FOR KAISER... CLEANED ME OUT OF THE INFECTION... DAMM NEAR EVERY MAJOR ORGAN WAS INFECTED AS WELL AS THE LINING TO THE ABDOMINAL CAVITY.... I LOST THE LARGE INTESTINE AND A MAJOR PORTION OF THE SMALL ONE... WHAT WAS LEFT WAS 18 INCHES OF THE ILIUM SECTION OF THE SMALL INTESTINE.. ALONG WITH 3 COMPLETE BLOOD TRANSFUSIONS I WAS LEFT WITH A ILEOSTOMY WITH NO HOPE FOR A REVERSAL....

SINCE THAT DAY I HAVE BEEN EVER GRATEFUL FOR MY ILEOSTOMY AKA SHADOW IN MEMORY OF MY PARTNER MILITARY WORKING DOG SHADOW X-117 WHO WAS MY PARTNER FOR 5 YEARS AND WE BOTH DID 2 TOURS IN VIETNAM.
SO THANK YOU SHADOW FOR KEEPING ME TICKIN AFTER THE AFTER ALL OF THE LICKINS WE TOOK AS A TEAM
