I ate over target but at maintenance. About 2000 calories. Could be worse! If I don’t blow it tomorrow I should see a small loss.

Day: did really good yesterday and today. Yesterday was another day where I prioritized drinking water and didn’t snack and today I did have a snack but I kept it in check. Feeling good about my resolve the last few days.

    Week # 1
    Weigh In Day: Saturday
    Previous Weight: 214.3
    Current Weight: 213.3

Every month I'm adding a new set of exercises to the usual mix - January is focused on High Knees, Climbers and Flutter Kicks. Not sure if it's helping me lose weight but it's certainly showing me that I've got some work to do to build up lower ab strength.

Hey, since you like tracking your step streak and it seems to help motivate you, maybe also track your logging streak?

@AmyG1982 Excellent idea!! Thanks for sharing 😍 I check-in MFP daily to log weight and fasting glucose, log every workout, meals are more complicated because I cook and never follow a recipe ... but I will def start a tracking streak ... I def feel like I'm BACK

Different scale. Weight was 1 day late as I switched weigh in days but wasn't sure if I was going to miss this week. My app wasn't working yesterday, phone was laggy in service.

Really felt like there was a loss this week. I'm purchasing a scale today for home so I don't rely fully on the one at work and can stop missing weigh days when my schedule changes slightly.

I pretty much stuck to my ratios yesterday. I did eat two pieces of store bought cheese pizza at a gathering but they were two very small pieces and I didn't feel like I indulged.

I need to up my water intake. Happy week 1 in the books!!!

I’m ok with that number because earlier this week I was actually at 170. It’s gonna take time, but I’ve been doing well this week. I made sure tower my step goal everyday, and do portion control. I’ll get there.

Happy January, and happy losing everybody!

Il never do this. Cant control it.

You can do this! Remember this a marathon not a sprint! There will be setbacks, we’ve all been there. I know how incredibly frustrating it is. All we can do is strive to make today better than yesterday. Try to focus on that as opposed to the big picture if the big picture is too daunting! We are all here for you. We are in this together!

Hi ladies my cycle started today? Do normally gain during your cycle? How do you combat cravings?

I am always so bloated leading up to mine. Mine isn’t regular so it’s a bit of a guessing game, but the scale is always up right before mine. Usually levels back out after though.

Thankfully, after almost a year of this journey i don’t experience that* many cravings anymore regardless of hormones. But i am usually more hungry, so i allow myself to eat more calories but stay under maintenance.

I really wanted to not track and give myself a free pass. But I forced myself to track and it kept me on target. 😁

Tomorrow is a new day! The holidays were the worst. I lost my dog who had been my best friend for 10 years, and every one at work and church gave us junk, not to mention all the holiday potlucks. Ugh. I gained and gained, even though I really did try to restrain myself. The last week once all the junk was gone, I ended up having one of the best losses I've had in 2 yrs. You still got this!

I am 2 weeks past my goal of hitting one-derland but that’s okay! It feels good to see that 1 instead of a 2 at the beginning. Next goal is 180 with no specific time limit but I think that 6 months is reasonable to lose 20 pounds. It would be great to be more aggressive with the time goal but I realize that weight loss can slow down the closer a person gets to goal.
