I've booked a beach holiday for May, I've set a target of 17lbs off in 15 weeks - absolutely doable - so I'm now on "holiday plan" mode.

So, my goals for this week:

    (1) Preplan and log all meals
    (2) Stick to less than 1400cals
    (3) Walk to work or go to the gym Monday to Friday
    (4) Bed before 11pm
    (5) DO NOT RAID THE CHOCOLATE TIN WHILE WATCHING TV!
    - yes shouty capitals are necessary, I need a proper telling off after the weekend!

Did go to be earlyish, but did not go rowing this morning, weather was foggy and didn't sleep well. So intend to do strength training this evening to make up for it.

Well, I got yoga done, did my exercises and I've so far eaten about 700 calories. Im going out to a restaurant tonight with some friends so I've looked at the menu at home and pre-entered what Im going to eat. Anyone else do that? I find it helps. Once you get there and start smelling all the amazing foods you can really make some impulsive decisions.

Definitely. I log my primary choice and then I put a note in my phone for a secondary choice in case the restaurant is out of something.

If it is a restaurant that I know really well then I will skip that step.

go to the doctor as I am having problems with the eyes, scared about
recover after this appointment, hope that the day ends well

  • Today's goal for me was to cycle to and from work. A challenge, because I'm used to using my spin bike but I haven't cycled on the road much in 5 years or so. It's only 11km or so each way... 6.8 miles, with hills.

It took me a bit and I walked up some of the hills, but I did do it. 🙂

I guess I have a new goal of doing that several times per week now!

My main goal this week is to not eat after 8pm, my downfall at the moment is late evening snacking when my husband has gone to bed and I'm watching my soaps.

    today's goal:

survive the all day budget meeting today and resist the candy, pastries, and catered luncheon. I brought my own chocolate bar and my own lunch, so here's hoping I can stick with my plan! I can't even have the garden salad they're bringing in because none of the dressings they bring are low calories and I forgot mine.

I did it! I made it through the whole day and stayed out of the candy and the catered food, sticking to what I had with me. I'm on track to be under goal tonight, too, as long as the munchies don't hit me right before bed time. I've got about 75 calories left in case they do.

What I find most interesting is that as I walked by the food table on my way to get my lunch out of the fridge, I wasn't even tempted to grab anything at all - not even a little bite of something. I call this a big NSV!

I managed to stay under goal today with 30 calories to spare and I still have my cottage cheese to eat before bedtime. I even hit protein goals today!

Let's see if I can get some decent sleep tonight and see if I can get my body to let go of the water!
