    Surprised I'm down. Strange times, a pandemic. Don't know what to think or feel about that. Think I have enough food to survive a couple week's of home quarantine. Or whatever comes. Hard to 'diet" when that is going on. Not normal times for sure.

    News keeps on getting worse. So mad that there are few text kits, so mad we have this president. An insane president is insane times. Actually the president more insane than the times. Disinformation and failure to act. Not a good combo. I think I've decided to focus on staying healthy, eating healthily for the most part, keeping in touch with friends. If I can stay right around 186 through this difficult time that would be good. Attracted to comfort food, of course. Have a really good chicken stew that is delicious and low in calories. Will focus on staying healthy.

    Have taken antibiotics for a sinus infection but today is the last dose and still have a sinus headache. Wish I could be tested so I would know if I have or have had COVID. But I haven't had a fever. Coworker sick with all the symptoms. Think she did not get it severely. Hopefully. She is also young. So my goal is still to eat healthfully, and keep my weight at 186 or below. My son is sick will take him a thermometer today.

    munching at night remains the problem. Quit WW, just not utilizing it. trying not to get the virus, working 2 or three days a week.

    Been stressed out and stress eating. trying to record faithfully in mfp. Know I am eating too many carbs and too much too late. Bouncing around, weighing daily, 185.6 to 187.6 and back again. Guess I am staying near my March goal of keeping my weight around 186 or below. Have been kind of depressed lately. My son got tested, finally, will know his results this week. Think he is getting better and hope he does not have permanent lung damage. Kind of hating my job and the whole anxiety thing about the pandemic. My mom is not safe in the nursing home she is in, there is at least one virus case there. My sisters want to leave her in and not sure if it is even legal for her to be released. Not there so don't know what I can do. Julie and Jeannie both have lethal cancer, pancreatic and brain. Dee still struggling to survive with cancer throughout her body. Feel like I am doing too little but doing what I can.

    Feel good about staying basically the same. That is my goal throughout the pandemic. More comfort eating but not terrible every day. Need to cut down on dairy though. Think I will make my own almond milk yogurt since the store bought stuff is so expensive.

    Got a mild version of covid, staying home for 10 days. One up side: lost my appetite. Still eating but mostly 2 meals instead of 3. My gut doesn't feel that great but really not "that sick". Keep on hoping that it won't get worse.

    i certainly admit to comfort eating for the last four evenings. Know that eating sugar triggers snacking for me. Need to check, think I might almost be at the end of this challenge.

    Struggling this last week. Got up to 189.8 and that really freaked me out. Have been back to the snacking after dinner and have now determined a list of snacks that have less damage. hb egg, egg beater omelette, cottage cheese and fruit, celery with tuna salad, sugar free jello, crustless pumpkin pie, baked apple, chaffle. Also want to do one or two "fasting" days a week. Think this will get me on track.

    Hanging in there. Lungs still funky. Feeling exhausted and sick. Still struggling with whether or not I have the bandwidth to work full-time.Learning cool things during my avocation time. Like medicine mandalas and about spiritual guides.

    Feel a little better but still tired. Lungs still congested by not coughing this morning. Finished my dose of Doxicillin, or whatever it was, yesterday. Might be mold in the house but will continue to work on it. One week until the end of this challenge. Will do the summer challenge June 6 - Sept 4th. Set your intentions and goals for the summer and post your starting weight. My goal for the next week is to record and weigh daily. Oh, did not note that I am recording much earlier in the day than I had been since we have returned to "normal" hours at work.

    One secret is an egg beater omelette for breakfast, or no breakfast at all. But love my banana strawberry smoothies for breakfast.

    Sugar is my weakness, my downfall. Also sodas.

    No, this group has not really dissolved. I just lost my resolve for a while. Starting again today! Hope you will join me. Actually, starting today but will set up the challenge for a Friday weigh in as in the past. So starting officially September 11th, with 9th week, end on November 13th.

    Today is the first official day of the challenge. Off to a good start. My goal: 169.0 pounds by November 13th. 20 pounds. My ultimate goal is 165.0 Know I will need to do some walking and some swimming and maybe some intermittent fasting. Think my feet and joints and heart will feel better. Worried about what it will do to my old face but health and not necessarily beauty is the goal.

    I've been struggling. My usual, eating at the end of the day when my food diary should be closed. I actually really scared myself by getting above 191.5 last week. I've had a feeling that I hadn't had before, that no matter what I do I'll gain. No sense of control. Need to just calm down, weigh daily, track my food. Easy Peasy, right? I can control my weight. Exercise, sensible eating, tracking weight and food. Think maybe I should take a decade at a time. Get solid again in the 80's and then go for 70's. Easy does it, one step at a time.
