We had a day or 2 of spring like weather but our temps are dropping again for a few days. It was very windy here again today. I thought a first that Cora didn't have the $$ for her meds, but I think that she likely just had to wait for Craig to pick them up for her as she no longer drives. I had another good eating day. I was unusually hungry mid afternoon and ate more points than I like in the afternoon, but I think I will be ok because I had a zero point supper and so managed to stay within my point allotment. I didn't accomplish much of anything today. This morning a friend who went to high school with John dropped by. She is very involved in a local dog rescue that we support. We had some things to donate to the rescue so she stopped by to pick them up. She is such a delightful person and so dedicated to saving the dogs. After her visit I felt a little tired so I took it easy for the rest of the day, reading and calling a friend to check on how he is doing.

I keep waiting for Spring but that wind just hasn't dropped it's chilling effect. Still snow around too.

I am happy with my eating this week. I did well and had a very slight drop on the scales. I will continue with what I have been doing in hopes that I can a slight drop every week.

I am going to be at the church today to help with the promotion of missions. I need to set up a table for Impact Ministries that are located in Guatemala. My partner will handle the speaking to the crowd, she does such a good job. Then we will be available to answer questions. There will be a few tables, not just ours. We shall see how that goes.

It looks like spring won't be here anytime this week. It has been quite windy here too. However, no snow currently but areas just slightly north of us might get some frozen precip over night, while we will have just rain I think. Hope your mission promo at church went well today. It seems to me it should be something of interest to many church folks.

I weighed in today, not sure why, but glad I did. I am down another pound…that's not a lot, but it is good to see a slightly lower number. I spent a lot of time on the phone the past two days. One of my mother's 1st cousins passed away so there has been a lot of phone calling among many of the relatives. My maternal grandmother was the 2nd oldest of 11 children, so there are a lot of 1st cousins (my mom's generation) and 2nd cousins (my generation) in touch with each other. The age range is wide as the 1st cousins are in their 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s, while we 2nd cousins are mostly in our 60s and 70s. We are located across the US - Florida, California, Texas, PA, Virginia, Ohio, etc. The cousin who passed away (Dotty) was 93 and was especially close to me and John. I spoke with her daughter who understands that I won't be able to attend the funeral.

Hello! Shari, congratulations on your drop on the scale! Paula, I’m glad you were able to speak to Craig and that his mother is doing better!!

I’ve had a busy weekend . I think I mentioned that I work for a non profit. We had our annual fund raising event on Saturday evening. I helped serve the meal cafeteria style. My DD went with me and we got our $$ worth on the raffle. She won gift certificates for a local pizza shop and I won a Tupperware bowl set and an antique glass dish. Everyone seemed to be having a great time but we left around 9:00 which was an hour before it ended.
Today I had a Board meeting for my breed dog club in Columbus. I’m acting President. The meeting went well but a lot of driving was involved. Thankfully DH went with me so there was company on the drive. Now another work week will start. I hope we all have a wonderful week!!

Paula- I am sorry for your loss. I think 93 is amazing age and your cousin would have seen so much change in the course of her life. It quite remarkable. I am sure she will be missed.

That sounds like a very busy weekend DW! Congrats on the raffle winnings.

A new week ahead! I am super thankful to work from home today. I hope to get outside for some fresh air and sunshine during my breaks. I haven't looked at the forecast too closely, but our snow is slowly melting and leaving a lot of patches of mud. That's a sign of Spring.

Thank you Shari. Dotty was an amazing woman and you are right she will be missed. I am grateful that her brother in California is still alive and remains in touch with me and John.

I had another productive day for my to do list and a very good eating day, under my point limit. I was planning to participate in an online WW seminar this evening but it didn't happen. I saw many many posts noting that others were unable to get in to the online seminar, so I know it wasn't just me. Oddly enough, so far WW hasn't sent out any email addressing whatever technical glitch might have happened.

That's too bad that you were not able to join the WW seminar Paula. I am sure you were looking forward to it. Hopefully it isn't too long before the next one comes along.

I have been doing pretty good with my food choices and my weight still appears to be going down albeit at a very very slow rate. I am super thankful as it seemed liked I couldn't stop it from going up and up. I just have to keep doing what I am doing. I have a few improvements that I can still make to what I eat, but I am hoping that I won't have to. I will have no problem sticking to the plan I have in place for the foreseeable future, so things are looking so much more promising.
