Type 2 Diabetes (T2D)
I recently was diagnosed with T2D. I was pre diabetic for 10 years and did not take it seriously. Now I am. I've reduced my daily carbs to 113, with 131 protein and 58 fat. I asked my nutritionist about Keto Green16. She suggested I follow it 2 days per week, but stay away from the trans fats. Thoughts? Comments?

This time, fershure!
Hi gang, I've just signed up and entered all my goals/food. I have a dismal history of not eating right and not sticking to a plan. I'm always putting comfort first. But, now at the age of 62, I have been recently diagnosed with COPD (I've never smoked a cigarette, joint, vape in my life), pulmonary hypertension and heart…

Hi! I'm new here! 💐
Hi everyone! I am Elsa (vanderwaltelsa05) from South Africa. I used MFP a few years ago, but wasn't into it 100%, so I "gave up". Now I'm back and really motivated. I'm now going to do this challenge one day at a time and NOT focus on the end. I need to lose 62kg. Due to an injury I was bed bound for the most part of this…

Looking for friends
Hi everyone! I'm Barbra, and I'm back on my weight loss journey. I was here on MFP in 2019 and lost about 70 pounds, but then gained most of it back. I've been here now for about 4 months and have lost 44 pounds, but I really miss the daily encouragement. I'm 56 years old and have at least 75 more pounds to lose, so I'll…

Hello
Hi everyone. I'm Tina. Been using this to log food for a few month off and on but taking it more seriously now. I really want to track what I'm eating and see how it makes me feel. Lost 15 pounds since the beginning of May by really paying attention to what I'm eating, logging food, adding exercise and getting off sugar.

New Member
Hi all, new member here! Type 1 Diabetic who has been referring to MFP for carb info for years and thought I'd finally sign up in hopes of losing a bit of weight (shred to wed) whilst also keeping an eye on what I'm ACTUALLY eating. PCOS & Pre- Diabetic
Hi, I’m on here trying to get help, and am honestly clueless. Around 2 years ago I was a completely healthy woman, perfect weight, and organs, I didn’t eat the best, but I didn’t eat the worst. I ended up randomly gaining 60+ pounds within the span of a year. I was still doing the same exact thing as before and was so…

Glucose, meal and active data on one chart
As a diabete or someone monitoring glucose levels it is important to see how certain foods and activities affect my glucose level. It would therefore be very useful to see all three these metrics on a time based chart. Even just a line chart with diffent colored dots for when meals, glucose logs and active logs were added.…

Keto Lifestyle
Please forgive me for the very long post, but I'm trying to make a point. I am trying Keto once again, and I have to say I am more successful this time around. I started at 165 lbs, and am down to 138 lbs. The first time I quit because I was always hungry. I didn't understand the whole net carb thing. I also started to…

Hi
I’ve used MFP for a while now but never noticed the community aspect before. I’m working to lose weight & am in the home stretch. I started at 270 & now an 177. I need to hit 140. Unfortunately at 67 my body doesn’t accept change well. I got to 150 when Covid hit & gained 35 back with all my bad habits in full control. But…

I used this app years ago, and lost over 100 pounds and kept it off. I was then 341. Now stuck at 231. So, I needed a way to track my food intake and exercise. And make friends and get support. SOOOO. I'M BACK....lol. Older now, 56, but ready for a change again.

Introduction
I'm 65, retired and I was recently diagnosed with 'prediabetes' from a raised HbA1C blood test. I knew I was about 30% overweight and in the BMI 'obese' category. Not a good look. I have been on a weight loss journey since February 2023 and am pulling out all the stops. I joined Slimming World for some real world…

Prescribed Steroids
I can not wait until my medical team gives me the okay to start tapering these damn steroids. My PCP tells me that my managed pre-diabetes has turned into Type 2 Diabetes because of the steroids my Neurologist prescribed me. I have ballooned from a heavy 220 to a more serious 250. It is time to take control of my diet and…
