Not New… but returning ♥️
Well it’s been more than a hot minute since I tracked every morsel that went in to my mouth… and at my fittest and healthiest when I last embarked on a weight loss journey I was 5stone lighter than I am currently. Sadly life and the horrible events my partner and I have endured has caused my weight to spiral. Since I have…

Hi everyone
Hi there I’m new to MFP and am trying to lose weight. I’ve just been diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes and high cholesterol. I’ve been overweight for a good few years and have always wanted to lose weight but the more I wanted to lose it, the more I actually put on!!! It’s amazing how hearing that you’re Type 2 Diabetic from…

Type 2 Diabetes and Fiber - Food Recommendations
I recently had a sigmoidectomy (colon resection). In pre-op, I found out I was Type 2 diabetic with an A1C of 7.3. Doctors have suggested starting with DEW (diet, exercise, water). I've already lost 10 pounds. Here's the challenge -- because of my colon issues -- I should be eating at least 30 grams of fiber a day. I don't…

Reversing T2
Hiya I am new here. I am in phase 2 of the ABL/NHS diet and have done super great losing 4 and a half stone in the 12 weeks on meal replacement however I am now reintroducing food on week 3 and moving up my calorie goal. My nutritionist wants me to maintain for a while but I still have a long way to go until my goal weight…

Old dog, new tricks
I resolved to lose weight about two years ago. With the help of Noom I lost 55 lbs. I started to take Pilates lessons, walked more, and reduced my A1C from 7.2 to 6.0. I’m diabetic 2. I gained about 10 lbs back and want to lose it and then some more. Being diabetic makes food choices more complex.

Hey, folks
Trying.Fitness Pal again, and having tribe right off the bat. I'm on my second day, although it's only about 2:00 am. In the last hour, I've eaten an apple - not bad, eh? . . . And then I ate two slices of toast with butter and blackberry jam. Clearly, I need help. Oh yeah - I forgot to tell you about the Coca-Cola. Tsk,…

LADA Type 1.5 diabetes.
I'm looking for more people like me. I was misdiagnosed as a Type 2. LADA is Type 1. Adult onset. If you come in overweight docs will assume you are Type 2. And wont test! I was put on the wrong med for 2 years. Are there any other LADA's out there?

Well I'm back at it. Unhappy with my health conditions, trying to avoid severe diabetic complications, trying to slim down and get back on track with healthy choices and movement.

Finally back at it
I’ve been off this app for awhile now. The past couple of years have been rough. I had a stroke, was diagnosed with diabetes and cancer and ended up having major surgery this summer. I lost some weight during all of that but it wasn’t in a good way. I still need to lose about 50 pounds to get to my goal weight. I also need…

My name is Bree. New to the community.
I lost my sense of smell when I got Covid a few years ago, and now, as time is going on, it is also affected my taste, so there are many things that taste terrible to me that used to be good, including healthy foods. I hope y’all can help motivate me. :-). In the last three years, since having my baby, I’ve lost 46 pounds…

keto carnivore returns
Years ago I started keto then carnivore for improved health (autoimmune and arthritis) and some weight loss. I started to let things slide, stopped myfitnesspal and then left it all fly out the window. I now need to re-lose the weight and regain my health with what will likely be a ketogenic to carnivore diet for life. And…

Support for Dexcom G7
There is support for the Dexcom G6 CGM, but not the G7. I am new to wearing a device and got the newest model, but then found out that it's not supported. That's my fault, but we should have support for the latest model. Thanks!
