LeanStrongSexy's 'NO MORE NEWSFEED' BLOG
So since MFP no longer has a newsfeed, which I used like a personal blog and MFP only has this Discussion area or groups, I decided to start a personal Blog. Someplace I can come a record my thoughts and news of my journey. I don't know if this is allowed here but I don't care since I no longer have my newsfeed I am using…

Hi
Hi I'm Laken I am 37. My weight fluctuates but I gained weight during the pandemic, and then when my grandmother, who raised me, passed away. I was her caregiver for 7 years. So I put on weight from the stress and then more from grief. If anyone has lost 30 pounds or more OR gained weight because of a death...... what has…

❓❓❓How have I maintained my 110 lb weight loss over 5 years? ❓❓
From 288 lbs to 178 lbs for over 5 years!! I do go up and down within a general 7 lb range, but how did I lose in the first place? Was it EASY? NO WAY was it easy. At that time, I couldn't walk much, but I could still lose!! I am not a healthy eater (Way better than I was though!) and I flatly refused to make any drastic…

Introducing 🥁... Myself!
I have used MFP for 7 years, with varying intensity. When I use it seriously, it never fails. Looking back, I am not sure what knocks me off, unless it is extended travel with unusual food choices and a disrupted routine. I have never reached out to join the community but I'm hoping that an accountability group will help…

Finally under 100lbs to go... some thoughts.
I started my journey at 310lbs. My goal is 140lbs. So, in total I am looking to lose 170lbs. I have been on keto for almost 147 days, I started on the 1st July and have been tracking my calorie intake religiously. I am finally under 100lbs to go with 93lbs left until my goal and 77lbs lost. While I am sitting at 233 lbs, I…

Fitness for folks 50+
Well... I haven't logged my food consistently in a very long time. I'm now 54 years old. But I'm not just 54 years old. I'm 54 years old with young kids - one 1 year old and the other 3 years old. I also have a 19 years old from a previous marriage. Why all this background verging on TMI? Well because I believe it to be…

Not really seeing the diffence
I've lost about 80LBS. In general I know the difference. Energy. Clothing size. I look and feel a lot better. I took 2 different photos 50 LBS apart. I just dont see the difference. Watch out for for letting your perceptions or a photo throw you off corse.

Sober and healthy in 2025
Hey all! Im Amber, 41 yrs old, a widowed mama and a mimi, and a recovering alcoholic/drug addict. My story has had allot of ups and downs, mostly downs for the past 5 yrs. At the end of 2010 I had a gastric bypass when my weight was at its highest at a little over 350 lbs. I ended up getting down to between 150- 185 lbs…

What do you enjoy the most about your weight loss and fitness journey? I'm back and grateful
Hi Everyone, I'm back after a long time away and I'm grateful. My fitness pal helps me being impeccably honest in tracking and it always works. My honesty starts to ebb and flow when I don't track. I can rationalize this treat won't matter, again and again. At 68, I'm being forced to be honest and move daily. Fortunately,…

I need motivation getting back on a workout schedule
In the past few years I've been no stranger to tracking calories and macros, with some success. During the pandemic I reached 200lb and post pandemic I lost about 30lb. Since then I've been able to reasonably maintain myself between 167 and 173. This year however my average have been higher at 175 to 180 and I know it is…

New Routine- hopefully!
Today was the 1st day of second semester at school. I decided to set my alarm a but earlier and hit the treadmill for one Golden Girls (yes, that is my unit and I'm sticking to it!). I managed that and my usual morning stuff and was still to school on time. My goal is to make it a daily routine but I will be happy with 3…
