Nobody to feed but myself
Hey! My eating has gotten pretty random since my kids left for college. I'm pretty much eating like I did at 19 - which isn't great for my energy levels. I'd like to get into a better routine, and it seems like sharing with others might help.

Is anyone really satisfied with their "success"?
I know I should be. I'm not. I started at 312lbs and am at 227lbs now. I've been at it for almost 2 years. I take a progress photo almost every day and say to myself "some day when I get where I want to be I'll put them all together and make a time lapse and share it." Someone who has reached "success" and I mean you truly…

What am I doing wrong? 😓
Hi guys! I am new to Myfitnesspal, and I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong with my weight loss. I am female, 5'4", and I weighed 117lbs in February, but just hit 106 after eating less, eating healthier, and exercising some. However, instead of losing inches on my waist as I was hoping, I actually lost more weight on my…

Trying to keep Control
Today is my second day and I find myself having a hard time keeping control with the urge to eat even though I am not hungry. I stopped smoking two months ago after having been a smoker for 45 years. I am vaping though, but I know that needs to stop as well. But even with the vaping I am having the urge to grab something…

Turn “Dry January” (or July,…

HI, I'm Sue. Been a member since 2018. Did so well and went from 11st to 9st 13lbs. It felt wonderful. I was happy in my skin and stayed that way until life changed beyond recognition. I had double knee replacement two years ago and lost my husband last year. So am now back to 11st. I'm disappointed in myself so here I am,…

First Day
My name is Marina and today is my first day at doing what I need to do in order to get back to my normal self. I am not trying to turn back time, but it would be nice to shed an excessive amount of weight, learn mindfulness and self-confidence after being the pillar of strength for everyone else but myself. I have lived a…

Small steps
Hello I am try to stay active by any means necessary so I decided to break up my 60 mins workouts into 30 minutes twice a day. My hopes are 30 of cardio in the a.m before work will wake my brain up and 30 of stretch training after work will build muscle and release stress! Now I just need to stay consistent! Wish me luck!

Why did you come to the conclusion to lose weight?
My story is a little funny. I was sitting in my chilly office with a small jacket on. I leaned back to yawn and a button from my jacket popped off and flew accross the room. That was my AH HA moment. What was yours?

How do I find people more local to me?
Hi, haven't been on in awhile. Came back. How do I find users closer to me? Do I have to sign up for the premium? I was hoping not to spend more money as I already have a Fitbit membership. Or even add people that will possibly check in with me and send me a message once in a while for encouragement.

Operation #NoGut - My Goal: 225 lbs from 290 lbs and NO Gut
WHAT IS #OperationNoGut? 🚨 Let me tell you exactly what's going on here. At my heaviest, I was 290 lbs. Life happened. I had surgery on both wrists, got sidelined, and the weight crept up. I moved back home to D.C from sunny Miami and gained more weight! So I drew a line in the sand. Enough is enough. Last years I dropped…
