The Art of Claiming Your Moment
Life moves fast, so fast that it’s easy to miss the moments that truly matter. It’s not always the big milestones like promotions, awards, or faraway trips that shape our lives. Sometimes, it’s the quiet, intentional acts of claiming your time, your joy, and your own story. Think about standing at the edge of an…

A small post about big results (300 lbs -> 220 lbs)
I am not sure I have much to teach anyone but hopefully some will find this post inspirational. I have been large most of my life and have hit 300 lbs twice. Once in high school and again some time after graduating college. In June 2022, just before my 29th birthday, I did a lot of research into the best ways to lose…

Afraid of doing this wrong
Hello! I started going to the gym and eating healthy about 2 weeks ago because i’m very insecure about my body. I have always had a very bad relationship with food and body. I used to be obsessed with weighing my self and would get on the scale multiple times everyday. I am very dedicated to loving myself, but in the back…

What keeps you motivated when things get tough?
Hey everyone ! I’m new here and really inspired by how supportive this community is. One thing I’ve noticed (for myself and others) is that motivation isn’t always constant. Some days you feel unstoppable , and other days it’s so easy to skip the workout or grab the wrong food. I wanted to ask: What do you do to stay…

Diverticulitis is NOT going to be death of me!
Hi y’all, I’m Kim from central Texas. 57 (and a half! lol) and I am struggling. Tomorrow will be four full weeks of being sick from my third diverticulitis flare-up, but this one is a doozy. Last time I was on a scale was two weeks ago at my doctor’s office, and at that point I’d lost 15 lbs since the last time I’d seen…

New to Nutrition Tracking
Hi all. I've been working on my physical health for a couple of years now, but wasn't paying too much attention to the nutritional facts of my intake. I try to eat better, but don't really know anything about macros, protein, etc. Just a couple of days logging my meals here have helped me to start understanding what I am…

Stress keeps the weight off
Trying to gain weight. I'm 5'1" 100 lbs and I rarely go above 103 lbs. Stressful situations have caused lack of hunger, then causes lack of energy to work out. Anytime I gain, I'm so glad. But if stress pops up in my life, it's back down almost immediately. What do you do to induce hunger or motivation during stress?

How do you force yourself to work out when you’re full of excuses?
Hi friends — I’m not new to fitness… but I’ve completely fallen off. I used to lead 6 mile sunrise walks on beach in sand 7 days a week for 2 years. I had accident and screwed up my hips and I can't do my walk anymore. Lately I’ve been slacking hard and making every excuse in the book — too tired, too busy, too…

I am BEYOND excited, I’ve been watching my diet the past few month(s) and I just weighed myself today. To my shock, I lost 14lbs, I was in such disbelief that I grabbed another scale thinking the scale was off, NOPE definitely lost 14lbs. I’m literally 6lbs away from being at my lowest weight in YEARS, last time I weighed…

What can I do different
I have been on my health and weight loss journey for over 8 months. I’ve lost a little over 45 pounds so far and none of my clothes fit properly which is great. Over the past 4 weeks I’ve only lost 1.2 pounds, and last week I gained over a pound. I’m under my calorie intake, carb intake, fat intake, and over my protein…

Confidence in my body during my weight loss journey!
Hey everyone! My name is Kyle! Before starting my weight loss journey, I weighed in at approximately 260lbs. My weight today now stands at 187.2 lbs! My goal weight is about 170lbs or so and then try to reverse diet so I can eventually start gaining some muscle. I’ve never been confident in my body, always belittling…
