Losing weight, or rather starting, continuing a new lifestyle of health, is never easy. When we do this alone, it's even harder. But when we combine our efforts together we become powerful.

An example is back when I started to lose weight at 288 lbs, I got down to 256 fairly easily, but at that point, I stalled. Sound familiar? I was starting to regain the weight when I decided to look online for support. I had very little in my life at that time. One of my best friends hated my losing weight. She even told me, "Now I am the ONLY FAT ONE with our friends!" At 256, I clearly wasn't thin. BUT, I understood she was upset. But I didn't want to rejoin her in my old habits. Online, I came where I found a site now closed (Sparkpeople). When Sparkpeople closed, I was one of the Over All Leaders of a group named: seasonal 5% Challenge. We went searching the internet to decide where we would thrive still. WOOHOO MYFITNESSPAL was happily decided on. This was 4 years ago, and we are happy to be here. Over half of our members are now from MFP!!
