  • I have to try too! Damn *kitten* *kitten* it
  • Also, who knew 300 men in skirts could be so appealing? Ok Ok I'm done, I think
  • King Leonidas is smokin' hot!
  • Do you shop at Maurices? I honestly can't speak to quality as I hate to shop , and I've only bought a pair of jeans 6 months ago. I do remember liking their clothes when I was "normal" sized 14/16 and thought I was huge. I'd kill to be there now.
  • Not really. He ran the blood panel, and I'd had a colonoscopy a few years back due to some issues. He basically gave me the fodmap pamphlet and told me he could run more tests, but it was my money. I normally swing from severed C to sudden D. He did give me one piece of advice that I knew but was never told by a…
  • @bjwoodzy how are things going? Things were improving for me, until I went back down to carnivore levels, which frankly I prefer. I am going to try switching from diet pop to unsweetened tea to determine if it is my caffeine intake or the aspartame doing it for me. Maybe I'll wean myself off caffeine altogether...? Yeah,…
  • I'm glad to see it. It seems you have a lot of experience in various LC WOE.
  • I used to wash only every other day, but I do find I am having to use dry shampoo in between now. I recently changed shampoo as well, so not sure. On the upside, my skin is looking great! <3
  • I have not tried that specifically, but I can't eat anything with inulin (aka chicory root) in it because I have IBS and fodmap sensitivity (suspected/suggested by my GI doctor) It makes me feel awful, bloated heartburn, and churning insides. I found out the hard way after fiber bars and meal replacement shakes. I…
  • Ate butter and ground beef so far today. I will include eggs in my dier, but trying to keep it limited. Meat, eggs, butter, repeat!
  • Can I jump in too? I know I definitely experience the most noticeable changes on this woe.
  • @ bjwoodzy I am still doing better. Thanks for asking <3 I have the same issues with milk and ice cream as you. Though it causes mostly gas for me. I was eating near zero carb to begin with, so upping carbs from cheese and adding veggies has definitely seemed to help. Though, I do miss the zero gas on very low carb.…
  • everyone is different of course, and I am just back on the wagon... I cheated 1 meal last Saturday, which turned to all day Sunday. For me, it is definitely a slippery slope. It has taken me 4 days to undo the damage from the carb up, which will result in minimal loss this week when I should still have been losing a lot. I…
  • @elphie754 I just heard on the radio they are bringing it back in September. It will now be called Diet Pepsi classic. Maybe you can find another poor substitute in the meantime. It also said they're bringing back the Crystal Diet Pepsi, you remember that clear stuff?
  • love diet dew! never cared for pepsi. They still use aspartame. My doctor also told me to limit for caffeine sake during my pregnancies. So I bought diet caffeine free.
  • Can I just add that my scale is retarded as well. Pants are beginning to feel loser, so that's awesome. Monday, weighed myself then napped. Weighed again post nap. I gained 1.4 lbs in my sleep! dirty rotten *kitten* I must have been eating donuts in my sleep again ;)
  • I was right there with you. Saturday I was feeling defeated and declared that I can eat what I want. Saturday night and all day Sunday. Ugh. Good news is, I was back on the wagon Monday, which was easier this time. I have cut back on the caffeine/diet dew but not eliminated, and I have eaten more dairy this week thus far.…
  • not sure you would be a proper hobo without a can of bean...
  • mmm canned meat... lol I do have to feel a tad sorry for your co-workers, assuming you don't work solo. only because I am super sensitive to smells and can imagine the smell permeating your break room if you heated the oysters and mussels. :) all in good fun of course. You're making it work for you, that's all that matters.
  • Lots of good ideas here. I need to cut back on the soda anyway. I think that will try that first. @Sunny_bunny I do enjoy veggies, so I wouldn't necessarily mind eating them eventually. I
  • The no donuts diet? Maybe I could write that book? Are you following a certain plan now, or just CICO?
  • I'm sorry I missed this post. I think you may be onto something. I struggle with IBS and generally suffer more toward the C, so this is quite a change. Whenever I had C and tried to add fiber/vegetables it only made matters worse.
  • Bjwoodzy- you're suspicion is right I do drink a lot of diet dew, plus a lot of water. I swear it's like I'm prepping for a drought. For some reason, I didn't think aspartame was in the same group as other sweeteners that way, but I may have to cut back and see if it helps. Dmariet116- I am/was/trying not to be a carb…
  • First of all, what a difference in responses of like minded individuals vs. The general forums. YAY LC group <3
  • I knew I would get mixed responses, but everyone is entitled to their opinions. I am a member of the low carb group but accidentally posted here, wasn't sure how to change it and was already getting some comments, so I figured I'd leave it. ;)
  • I don't think I've had bad meat or eggs. I do have ibs and some issues with fodmaps . Also, I drink a lot of diet pop. Could the caffeine coupled with the higher fat diet be causing it?
  • I have major OE issues and find that I simply cannot do moderation. I am always hungry and all the logging is added stress. I have been on and off diets since childhood and find the simplest diet is the easiest. One cookie or donut will lead to 2, 5, who knows how many.
