Hi! I have to lose around the same as you. I consider myself a geek, not sure if others do. Hahaha. Added you on fitbit

I am a high school teacher! I honestly need to lose like half of my overall weight O_O. Always up for connecting!

Add me! I'm starting over again and am rather bummed about my starting point. Could use support!

I love it. I started with the regular app and then decided that I needed a bit more training. Have repeated a few weeks, and it has been far longer than eight weeks, but my legs are starting to be pure muscle. Yay!

I had a flex and updates to a Charge Hr about a month ago. I absolutely love it. I find it motivates me more to go running or such when I have the stats available easily on my wrist.

From what I have read your first goal is really towards endurance and then towards speed. I hope so! I am doing Zombies 5k and am dreadfully slow. However, I love it. (I love running! Who would have thought!) and am just hoping that after I finish the 5k and start running more regularly speed will come soon.

I love my Fitbit and find it to be a great motivator. I started with a flex and now I have a Charge Hr. I find the charge works better for me because I like accessing data without having to sync to my phone. I think it is worth it depending on what you are looking for in particular. For me, the data and the challenges, the…

Hello there! Me, me, me! And let me chime in about the Zombies 5k. I started with Zombies run and injured myself in... ahem... my zeal to outrun the zombies. The 5k is far enough from the original plot that it doesn't repeat things but close enough that it makes the original one make more sense. Starting week three,…

I grab my phone to make a call and automatically open up the app. Why am I here again? Your husband grabs something at the supermarket and immediately hands it to you, label facing up.

I drink water first thing in the morning so I go right before I leave the house and then I usually hold off until lunch or the end of my school day. I think that you mostly train your body by creating habits. At least I don't usually get the urge while in class.

Sounds good. I could do with someone helping me get out of my laziness funk lately.

I was going to start today and then I took a nap instead. You know what? After this reply I am going to make myself do it.

Zoodles! I just bought a veggie spiralizer yesterday and I am already in love!

An easy and tasty use is quinoa "risotto". Before cooking quinoa make sure to wash throughly, as it will have a bitter taste otherwise. Cook like rice, then add in your favorite tomato sauce and parm. cheese. Really easy and delicious.

It really worked with my dog. She would pull insanely at the start but slowly it starts relaxing her. On the leash issue, since she was also an escape artist, we actually used both a harness and a regular leash. Soon she stopped trying but we still use both out of habit.

I just started the zombies run 5k version. So far I love it. I regret not starting with it in January as I ended up injuring myself just starting to run without any guidance.

Quinoa is a great base for a ton of recipes. I just made a quinoa "tabbouleh". Cook quinoa just like you would rice, though make sure to rinse thouroughly in water before or it will be bitter. Cut onion and soak in water for a bit to cut the sharpness. Then you just cool the quinoa, add the onion, some tomato, mint,…

Me me me! I want to be really active this time around MFP. I want to be friendly with all! Add me!

Hi everyone! I am starting again today too! I hope to be able to connect with some of you and make some friends. I think I need people to help keep myself accountable! Good luck with all the New Year's festivities!
