Hi. Im not exactly new, but Im back after a longish hiatus. Looking for new friends because most of my old ones aren't active any more. Im fairly active, but not perfect. Just got a fitbit.

Im not where I want to be, but look up Emily Skye on Instagram (not sure if she is on youtube). She is a new mom and she shows real un-photoshopped pics of her progress and shares exercise routines.

I hate that. My old office was always freezing. I actually brought a blanket to work and put it on my legs, it was that bad.

I have no clue. They usually have some convoluted story about when their last cycle was, and when they had unprotected sex - or sometimes, they haven't even had sex, but maybe they fooled around in other ways and there is a 1% chance that something got near there, and they give vague symptoms like "back ache" and add in…

I seriously cannot believe the sheer number of people who ask the internet if they are pregnant.

I posted this a few days ago. My cat couldn't care less, so some people said they were going to try it!

You guys, I've done something really stupid. I've gotten sucked into Yahoo Answers. I keep answering the dumbest people on the planet, and I can't stop. I keep looking at it. This is what happens when I'm home alone.

Did anyone's cat lay in their cat circle?
-
Sometimes it's just down to body type. My sister has always weighed more than me, but she carries it in her stomach and arms, so her hips are smaller than mine. I carry my weight in my lower body, even when I'm in a healthy range. I hated it as a teenager.

Also, I saw this today and I tried it. I was strangely disappointed when my cat did not sit in the circle.

I have a confession: When I get down to having less than 1,000 calories left for the day, I get this nervous feeling like I'm definitely going to screw it up and go over. Even if I'm at 999. I do 1620 a day, so I'm not deprived or anything. I still continue to eat, don't worry. I just have anxiety about it.

They like it hot. I have never seen one in Washington state, but I saw millions down in Arizona. No matter how clean people kept their houses, almost everyone had them at some point :'(
-
Thanks! I did. I am going to get the stuff when I go shopping on Saturday. I'll report back!

Sounds promising!

What a not nice lady. Ignoring her nonsense is a great plan. I probably would have flipped her off by now, so good for you for being more mature ;)

That is awesome. Congrats!

Aw! I tell my kids that there is a candy tax for living here in November. I know they know I'm full of it, but they still laugh and give me candy.

Same. I live in Eastern Washington, and we have crazy extreme weather. It's around 100 degrees most of the summer, and then we have a very short actual fall, and then it snows from October to March. By the end of the "seasons" here I am so done.

Thank you! Same here!

Hi guys! I have no hope of catching up. I have been watching my food intake, but I confess that I had no motivation to do any upper body stuff for the last two weeks as my ankle has been healing. I did nothing except walk my kids to school. I've gone out for longer walks twice this week though. Back at it! I just pinned a…

Kind of. The police basically said they don't care that much about that particular thing she did in the grand scheme of her rap sheet. I think in her messed up brain, she really didn't think it was a problem because she was only a witness so in her mind it wasn't causing me any trouble. She is starting court mandated rehab…

OMG, I am sorry, but I am cracking up. What a weirdo that guy was. Doesn't he know you're supposed to hide your crazy on the first date? At least you could cross him off easily. On to the next one!

Hi! I'm popping in to try and catch up a bit. My mom is doing somewhat better, but still having issues. I sprained my ankle trying to help her carry stuff to her car. Yay! School starts for my kids on the 31st, so I'll have more time to devote to MFP very soon!

Thanks for asking. My mom is doing OK. A piece of the blood clot that caused her stroke stayed in her lung, so now her lung is full of blood. They may have to put in a drain. I realize those two sentences contradict each other - but her back was so messed up that she is feeling super great after surgery despite the extra…

I know, right! I posted a recipe a few posts ago that looks promising.

That sounds awesome.

I sometimes watch Bridezillas as a guilty pleasure. In fact, my former BFF and I use to set the kids up in the bedroom or kitchen playing, and then watch it together while we ate our lunch. If you're not crazy, it's hilarious. I always wonder about the men who marry these ladies. Also on Netflix is a show called marriage…

Thank you. We had a pretty rough childhood, and none of us escaped with great mental health. I on purpose didn't try any hard substances, because I was afraid it would be too easy to fall into it. I have my own issues, but drugs are not one of them.

Neat! I lived there between 1996-99. My dad was in the Navy and he worked at Davis-Monthan. I know that seems weird, for a navy guy to get orders to the desert. It was. My dad loved it so much that he retired there. I'm back in Washington. Although I find Arizona beautiful in it's own way, I can't give up the trees or the…

Aw man, I am camping this weekend too. I think I will try it. Apple spice cake sounds so good. I think I will try it in the fall when I get apples from the farm.
