That is great that you found something that you like to do! And I agree....if I just eat what I should, it is pretty easy. It took awhile to find my groove and really get the eating down right, but then it is pretty easy....I eat what I want...just in amounts that fit my goals. Today... I tried yoga. And the stretching is…

I knew I was losing weight when I no longer had visible panty lines.

Thigh gap! This time last year they were rubbing and I was thinking of getting bike shorts to wear under my dresses. This year there is a good inch and a half gap!

49, and lost 22 pounds since January. I swim....at first it was a quarter mile in anout 20 minutes. I had been sick and 16 laps was all I could manage. Now...I swim a half mile in 20, and have done 1.5 on a good day. I also walk and starting to run again. Ran 4 miles and was real proud of that as I hadn't done that since…

That is so great! I just noticed the other day that I am now 9 lbs under my driver's license. NSV for me, but 55 lbs, that is GREAT!

That there are some bathroom stalls that no matter how much you lose, you will STILL have to straddle the toilet to get the door shut because they are just too small.

An automobile tire. Though I suspect that is for a compact car. My goal weight would be closer to the tire for a SUV.

I didn't go over my calorie limit for Saturday or Sunday. Usually I go way over because of what I am fixing for the family.

Very nice! It is great to see both photos. I am also 5'4", and started in February at closer to 160. Slow going for me, also, down about 20 now....want that 120 to 125!

Night time is hard for me, too. For go breakfast if that is an easier time to be hungry. I have coffee (2 cups) and total of 4 teaspoons of sugar for breakfast most days. Lunch I like to have a cup of homemade kimchi or raw veggies mix with a tablespoon of dressing. Dinner...I eat what I fix for family, but try not to have…

Accurate counting. And it helped that kids gave me Noro Virus so I didn't feel like eating. I don't recommend it as a plan.

Oh, and I have lost 20 pounds after starting to eat more carbs.

Listen to your body. My hair got thin and I suddenly developed dry eyes. Now and that I am eating them again my hair is better but my eye doctor says I will need eye drops or tear duct plugs from now on. I was doing same amounts as you. Prior to limiting carbs I did pig out on crackers and homemade bread dough. Now I eat…

I started with size 12 and 14 pants. My "new" pants are all size 8. And definitely today....they feel like they are sitting too low. Despite me chaperoning a camp last week where the ladies put the main two stachy items on my plate and I only got to pick veggies and dessert. Glad I got the pants from a thrift shop! Looks…

Nobody told me it would take about two months to be able to consistently eat at or below my calory goal.

It took me about two months to get the food for me about right. So give yourself time to learn. Eat berries right away, or get frozen. Veggies in the Cole family, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, kale, tend to last well. Apples and oranges last well, just eat ones with bad spots soon or throw them out. Who!e lettuce will…

Not a guy, but have had wood chuck, rabbit, duck, goose, elk, deer, caribou, buffalo, squid, assorted clams, probably more. I have ducks...but will not eat balut, but will eat salted eggs. The trick I have found with wild elk and deer is to soak it in salt water to get rid of the gamey taste. As we freeze most, that is…

Fresh fruit. It other people are not on a diet, include whip cream as a topping to make it more decadent. Let popeople put their own on. Angel food cake has lots of sugar, but sliced thin can be topped with the fruit and whipped cream.

My friend's daughter is allergic to eggs. She can go into shock and die. She has an epi pen with her at all times. It is a histamine reaction. I have an intolerance to duck eggs. If I eat three or more a day, I feel very sick to my stomach with lots of stomach cramps and the runs. I do not have a histamine response. I do…

If I can't find exactly, I pick high. Exactly means, for example,1Johnsonville Italian sausage. I pick high for things I make from scratch, say, chicken salad for sandwiches where I put in mayo until it looks right for the amount of meat I have.

They don't tell you that you have to work much harder when you swim your laps. Fat floats...muscle sinks. I am really feeling my workouts this week after going down a couple more pounds.

I have been walking, using Map My Run on my tablet that I keep in a fanny pack. Today, after a long break due to changed schedule and illnesses that left me without energy, I decided to run. My Nexus was really bouncing in the fanny pack. Until I tightened the belt by 3 inches. And then I realized that when I wore it last…

I used Alli for a couple of months. My wallet weighed less, but I did not. Two things helped me. My kids got norovirus and gave it to me. I decided that it was the perfect time to start REALLY counting calories. I started MFP again, and weighed and counted and when in doubt, counted higher, giving myself an extra serving…

Today I was in a groundbreaking ceremony for NY kid's new school. I didn't know what to wear....then realized that my daughter had some really nice shirts that actually fit me! She wears them big, with a belt, but the one I picked looked nice! Before diet, my arms were too fat and the buttons gaped.

Nice!

Someone finanally noticed and said something! 15 lbs since I started in February. Oh, and I don't float as easily in the hot tub anymore - the legs stay down!

Weigh your foods, and just keep at it. It takes some time to get used to tracking. What works for me is low cal breakfast, a sausage or egg with coffee. Lunch I do raw carrots, broccoli and cauliflower mix with a little bit of dressing. For dinner, I like to log it in before I eat so that I can adjust the amounts if needed…

Yup....along with what others said, your wedding band looks more comfortable, and less like it is cutting into your finger. That was one of my first signs...having to move a ring to the other hand so it wouldn't come off while swimming. Yay you! Enjoy that baby too!

They don't tell you that it starts to feel good to be a little hungry, and that eating amounts of what you used to eat will make you feel I'll.
