I was always thin. When I had my first child I went to 140, the doctor said that I should go for 135. I had two more, moved, liked the food I cooked and didn't move enough. Diabetes runs in my family. I officially became "overweight" by about ten pounds and decided that I shouldn't gain any more. So, I have been moving…

Give the remaining 16 to the first homeless guy you see. He will either use them and appreciate them, or will trade them for something he can use. Or...just throw them out. Really.

The 98lb wrestlers on the team in high school would do this to be at weight. They would run the halls all day to get down to weight. Very unhealthy for them...they wouldn't drink any water all day. Doing it while cleaning....sounds like a worthless pain in the rear

Sw132 He 125 This week...129.

That I shouldn't try to diet because my young teen daughter would think that weight was all that mattered. And, that I couldn't eat the same food as everyone else in the family, because it was a diet. And if I did eat different then it was being a bad example..... What I realized is that I need to do this for me. And to be…

Sw132 Cw130 1 pound per week... Good enough for me.

Cw. 131 Sw132 Gw 125 Mondays don't work well for me, so I think I will post on Friday instead. This week was kind of hard, it is that time of the month, and I was bloated and craving sugar. But, I mostly didn't give in and am happy to be down a pound.

You were pretty before, but you are beautiful now! You look lovely, and don't give the terms another thought!

What no one tells you, and I didn't go looking for, is that you should err on the side of overestimating your calories,(while staying under goal,) and underestimating your exercise for best results. Took me a long time to realise that I was doing it backwards. When I finally had that face palm moment, I started…

Willing to give it a try. Currently... 132 Goal...125 Not a whole lot to go, but this time of year I want to eat and put on weight so I will be warmer. I need to put on more clothes instead.

49, and I have lost 35 of the 40 I want gone. What got me started and really working MFP was that I got Noro virus and was unable to eat much when I got well. Decided to use the reduced appetite as a starting point. But. It was still a mind adjustment. I had to eat less. Smaller portions and no seconds. I felt hungry and…

Well, according to MFP, it does burn some calories. However, it will burn them where your body wants and not necessarily in the order that you put them on. It will give you a great strength workout, which will improve muscle tone and that will look better.

My fingers were numb and tingling when I was cold after swimming today. That used to happen all the time when I was in college, skinny, and teaching swim lessons. I had forgotten all about that...

I am more open to the idea of the cat cuddling with me on warm summer nights, because I am cooler.

One beer...and I am not legal to drive. At least I don't feel like I should drive at all!

There is an autoimmune condition...Jorgenson or something, that causes dry mouth and eyes, among other things. My doctor thought I might have it...turns out for me it was probably my low carb diet. Now that I am eating more carbs, I am not having issues.

Some large percentage started working out because they were over weight. Some smaller percentage didn't want to get overweight. The larger group has been where you are now and won't judge you other than to congratulate you for starting. The smaller group should do the same thing, but for the few, very few, who judge...they…

Okay, just reset the Map My Run to my current weight, which should make a difference on my next run. But, when I used my current weight in the online calculator that they have, it is still more than the 98 calories per mile that Runkeeper seems to be using. Shouldn't effort use more calories? Is Map My Run more accurate…

48 and 135. So basically, no matter how much effort I put into it, I am still burning 98 calories per mile?

Both versions are the free versions.

I have had them in Asian dishes that my daughter wanted me to make. They are fine in dishes that come from the culture that made them. I did suggest them to a diabetic friend who loves Asian foods, and tries to save his carbs for a nightly shot of high end whiskey. Not sure if he has tried them or not. Fishy taste does not…

Similar to ^^^. Primal, only I gained. Scale and measuring cups really help, until I could see the size and amounts of things. 30 pounds today, since February 14.

I officially became overweight, at age 45. I tried a primal diet....but didn't log accurately. Two years later..nothing changed except I weighed more. I this year, for Valentines day, my daughter gave me Noro virus. I puked a lot and had no appetite for a week. I decided to take advantage of that and really log accurately.…

If you want to track calories, you will need to swim above. Most trackers will do freestyle, breast, back and butterfly.

Thanks. I am doing lots of slow walking, going back down when feeling sick, head hurting, etc. Also eating lots of carbs, and drinking lots of water. So it sounds like I may not lose much, but I will burn most of those carbs I am eating. Which is okay.

Two today. 1. My neighbor asked if I have been working out. I smiled ànd said yes. Nice to have it noticed. 2. I have muscle definition in my upper legs, on the side, between the knee and thigh. Forgot about that as it has probably been 20 years since I have seen it on me.

I have a Nexus 7, without the phone/cell tower option. But I it did work in the past, so unsure why it isn't working now. I will try some of the suggestions.

I do not always have internet connections. In the past the GPS recorded the path and length, and when I got home I could get the calories and the maps. Which I was fine with waiting. I have tried turning on and off and it doesn't matter. My GPS works fine for my traffic maps and apps so I don't think GPS is the issue....it…
