  • Yes I love Keaira! I lost some weight with her. I lost weight when I did her 30 day challenge. The biggest results have been a combo of MFP and her workouts though. The workouts alone didn't make as big of a difference.
  • You look great in both pictures. Love your hair in the before. I agree your confidence shines through in the after pic.
  • Done.I remember what a pain it was to get research participants, when I was doing my Research Methods classes.
  • So is it a vacation? A Birthday party?
  • Keep it up. Like others have said it took you longer than two weeks to put the extra 40lbs on. I was in the same place as you about 2 weeks ago. I was very discouraged I'd lost 4lbs at first then only a pound. Just remember "some progress is better than no progress".
  • Do you know how many calories you burn? You can enter exercises here http://www.myfitnesspal.com/exercise/new?date=2015-04-06&type=0. If you don't know maybe use a tracker when you're doing your workout to find out the approximate calories you burn. Or a calorie burn calculator for an estimate.
  • I also do Bellydance/Zumba/Dancefit/Bollywood Aerobics. I've also started doing some strength and weight lifting routines I found on Fitness Blender/Fitsugar, As well as Keaira Lashae (She has everything from Zumba-Kickboxing). Keaira has tons of dance workouts as well as Lauren Fitz. I also have a found a few Barre…
  • 125 ml of Bryers all natural ice cream and 6-12 g of PB2 it's around 150-175 calories. @lindsayh87 I didn't weigh myself right before and during my period. I knew I would just be disappointed.
  • OP I'm the same height as you. My goal weight is between 136-your current weight. I don't think you should worry about current fads. Do what you are happy and comfortable with.If you're worried about losing your booty just make sure you squat/deadlift ect. Wow angell111 all I can say about your pic is "Booty goals".
  • Congrats! Your waist definitely looks smaller.
  • What a great idea for a topic. I do not have JRA or RA but, one of my best friends has JRA. I actually interviewed her for a research project I did in my Health Psychology class years ago. It was very interesting learning all about it. Good luck to all of you on your fitness and health journey.
  • Yes I just got my first jar of it last week. I'm obsessed! Otherwise I usually eat All Natural Peanut Butter.
  • That is why I posted what I did yesterday. I have gotten some really interesting information on this site. So I really appreciate when people say they got info from such and such site or youtube vid ect. Otherwise it just seems like it's something they've written and I can't go to the source material to learn more about it…
  • Haha I might need to try this. It's that time of the month for me. I started noticing major cravings and having a lot harder time not caving in. I've really been struggling and beating myself up about it. I've been eating all or most of my exercise calories back and have even gone over. All I feel like doing is stuffing my…
  • Hmm strange some of these comments regarding PB2 sound straight from Food Babe. I appreciate those trying to give facts so that we can make informed decisions. However, I also appreciate when sources are cited. That way I can check them out. http://foodbabe.com/2012/09/16/the-truth-about-pb2-powdered-peanut-butter/
  • That's what I call it too. It's sure changed. Same with A & E doesn't really seem to be about Arts and Entertainment anymore. I'm watching it right now and it makes me kinda sad and also motivates me to stay on the right path.
  • I have several magic bags (once that that has straps that I put around my back for my back pain, one for cramps, and one I'll use for my legs.I also take evening primrose oil and also use Naproxen and or Acetominophen. I get debilitating cramps that cause me to throw up. I find it hard to exercise at that time since I'm in…
  • I am a huge PB lover (even more than chocolate). I just bought PB2 a few days ago and I'm so glad. It's so yummy! I blend banana/PB2/chocolate protein powder/ice.
  • Yep I log raw fruit. The only thing I don't always add is when I sprinkle on spices like lemon pepper, cayanne pepper ect or the lemon wedges I put in my Infuser water bottle.
  • It probably is. I've seen it posted a few times and it scared me :\
  • Someone in one of the other threads posted a video about how inaccurate using measuring cups can be. I bought a food scale the next day. I only use a glass measuring cup or measuring spoons for liquids.
  • I've cut back on juice. Now I mainly use it for smoothies or I'll measure out a small amount. Before I probably used to drink 3 glasses of juice a day. I don't care for plain water that much. I cut up and freeze different fruit and put it into an infuser and drink that instead.
  • Hi fellow shorties. I'm 5'2 I want to lose about 45 lbs.
  • OOoh I might have to give those a look. It would be a good way to up my technique in between classes. I agree with you. Any style requires technique, work, and can be a lot of fun. That sounds so fun. This may sound cheesy but, I LOVE all the line dances you learn on cruise like: The Wobble, Danze Kuduro. I would love to…
  • I find if I type the item in google for example Raw String Beans myfitnesspal, it will show me an entry that has grams as an option. If I can't find one I'll make my own entry or do the conversion. I usually find if you google it outside of myfitnesspal an option comes up where it's in grams.
  • Yes I agree dance is for All. The reason I made the comment about bellydance has to do with my own experience with dance. I have been dancing recreational and competitive for 28 years in a variety of styles. The style that I have personally seen the most variety of ages, shapes, sizes in one class is Belly Dance. I love the…
  • I absolutely LOVE the Food Network. I marathoned DDD last night.
  • I was going to suggest Belly Dance. The only down side of doing it at home is you're not going to have anyone to make sure you're doing the proper technique. The good thing about Belly Dance is, it's for all shapes, sizes, abilities. I've danced with Teens/seniors/pregnant/majorly over weight/very thin ect.If you are not…
  • Ok thank you all for your feedback. It makes things more clear.
