I can tell. Your waist looks smaller and tummy tighter. Well done! Sometimes people can tell but don't want to say anything in case it's awkward.

Congrats on having lost 20 pounds!
It takes a while for people to notice, and everyone loses weight differently. It looks like yours may be coming off your middle, but if it's coming off evenly from most everywhere, then you're going to take longer for people to see it.. And then they'll be shocked.
Just keep at it. You're doing great!0 -
Thanks guys! I'm anxious to see what the next 20lbs looks like.0

I definitely notice. Your waist looks great!0
-
Congrats! Your waist definitely looks smaller.0

Your waist and your tummy both look smaller ..well done0

in your face, legs, and your chest looks less like it's been shoved into your sports bra. Definitely can see differences.0

Well Done. Keep going. When you lose another 20 you will get lots of compliments. It will be very noticeable.0
-
I can tell - smaller upper stomach and chest - but I'm looking at the pictures side by side. It would be difficult for people who see you everyday to see a difference - it'll be the folks who haven't seen you in months who'll say something to you about your weight loss first. xx0

When I lost 20 I didn't hear anything which bummed me out but 20 lbs is 20 lbs and you feel the difference, now that I've lost 40 everyone makes a comment. Hang in there, within no time you will be explaining to everyone how you did it!!0
-
Ummmmmm "YES"!!!! Looking great! Keep it up!0
-
Thank you everyone! I really needed those kind words!0
-
Oh heck yeah!
I've heard that for folks my size (I started at abt 235) it takes about 20lbs for people who see you every day to notice. It's because they see you every day!
Congrats on the loss! Keep up the awesome!0 -

This. I lose weight fairly evenly (mostly midsection, slower in the thighs, etc) and I lost about 90 pounds before my dad looked at me one day when I was visiting and actually noticed.
And yes, there is certainly a difference there -- you look lovey overall!

You look great! And I can guarantee you that people are noticing... probably just afraid to say anything :-)

I had to lose about 30 pounds for people who see me daily to notice a change. My husband started noticing right away but he knows I was trying to lose. I saw someone that I hadn't seen in a few months and they noticed it right away.0
-
In any case, yes I can definitely notice a difference- great job.0

Definitely a difference! Great job so far!0

First, let me say that I can see a difference, and you look great!
I agree with what others are saying - when you are losing evenly (which it looks like you are) it is hard for others to see, especially those that see you every day. I also think that many people feel bad bringing up weight loss unless it is drastically different (don't want to come off as implying you looked horrible before).
I am down almost 25 lbs and have had only two mention they could see it. However, I am down two dress sizes, so I know it isn't in my head Pay attention to how YOU feel - the compliments will come soon!0 -
Definitely a difference. I've found with about 20lb loss people tend to second guess if they see something or not, so rather than be rude they keep quiet. For me people seemed to keep quiet until I lost a lot of weight (about 50lbs), but then it was so obvious I think people didn't want to say something in case it seemed dumb for them just to say something. It took going on vacation and coming back before people seemed to feel comfortable with mentioning it.
New clothes also can make a huge difference by showing off how much you've changed. Great work and best of luck on your journey!0 -
Absolutely! I see you've lost some in your chest and midsection. I imagine you may have also lost in your arms and legs, but it's hard to tell from the pics you posted.
What's important is that YOU notice. I'm a pretty small person, so even 5 pounds is something I notice on myself. However, I don't think most people notice my weight fluctuations much at all. I appreciate the fact that the people who don't mention my weight loss also don't mention my weight gains.0 -
Thank you guys! I really need to invest in new clothes because all of mine make me look like a box. but I'm so cheap, lol second hand shops are calling my name.0
-
Unless you tell people that you are trying to lose weight, they likely won't say anything. I am sure you probably aren't wearing the same fitted thing you are in these pictures every day, so they can't see your form. You DEFINITELY look different! Way to go!0
-
A few years ago I lost 20 pounds, not one of my friends noticed. I finally got so frustrated I brought it up and then they said something. Unfortunately I gained it all back plus some.0
-
It's definitely noticeable, you are shrinking without a doubt - are you wearing different clothes? Sometimes the same baggy clothes that hid our fat also hide our fat loss0
-
Yup....I see the difference....especially in the waist/tummy area. You are blessed with awesome boobs and carry your weight evenly. I think you'd look great at any weight but you are going to be so hot when you reach your goal. Well done!0
-
congrats! and don't get discouraged when people do notice and say they see your face looks thinner
