Do not judge progress just by weight, keep in mind that muscle per volume weights more than fat. I went for months not losing any weight by lost several inches off my waist at the same time. Mostly because I was building up muscle mass and losing excess fat.

Also remember that Muscle weighs more than fat, I had this issue when I first started working out. I was loosing inch's but not weight, finally my muscle mass balanced out and I started to loose again.

I usually take a small bag of vegetables, "Celery, radishes, baby carrots, jalapeno peppers and broccoli" and s package of hummus. It keeps me at about 100 calories for lunch but still fills you up.

I just divide any calories that MFP gives me by 100 and use that number. For example if I run 4 miles and it tells me I burned 822 calories I would record only 8.
