Me: 5 Lns: 6 Tough lately. Too many unplanned meals.

Me: 4 Lns: 3 Had a late tennis match, so I had to eat after 9 pm. But, I lost a pound, so it was worth it.

Zeeled, first congrats on the great success that you have had already. The fear of gaining is real. I've been there, and it was a self-fulfilling prophecy when I gave up every time I didn't have a "good" week or month. My binges have gotten much less frequent when I faced "the dragon". Do the math of how many calories it…

July 4 Me: 2 Lns: 2 Sigh... I didn't snack late but I did overeat all day on wings and sugar cookies prior to that and forced myself to log it just to record, so I will count as lns. What a crazy day.

Me: 2 Lns: 1 Still struggling to stop eating after dinner but picking better items.

Me-0 LNS-1 Oops. Should have just gone to bed.

I'm here. Happy July!

Me: 3 Lna: 1 Good start but not stopping with snacking after 7 pm like I wanted. Need to move it back to 9 pm to make more realistic but use apples, yogurt, etc. after dinner instead of trigger foods.

Me: 2 Lns: 1 streak: 2 I have been successful in changing the late night snack to decaf and/or fruit, but I did add 80 cal greek yogurt for that sweet treat feeling. It has really helped.

Just found this thread. Love it! Same problem. Do well all day - then derail it from 7-10 pm after dinner with over 300 in calories. No wonder I am maintaining - and not losing. I don't think I can change my habit of eating at night yet, so I'm going to make my rule only fruit or decaf coffee after 7 pm. So, starting last…

I like the 2.5.5... "its the good habits ...not the actual results" that make me feel good. Keeps the focus on the process and the habits for the life-long journey! Thank you for sharing and stay strong.

Hi, late to the party. Could I join your group. Turning 57 this week. Lost 35 originally but gaining back fast after a stressful year. Currently 147.5 but need to be at 132. I don't know why it's harder this time, but I think it's all about being accountable.

Try to keep only your non-emotional foods in the house. If you have triggers, don't bring it home. If you go out for it, limit it to one serving and don't beat yourself up over it. Log it and move on. Take it one day at a time. You can do this. Stay strong.
-
Congratulations. You look happy in both photos, but an extra twinkle in your eyes now :). Stay strong!
-
Congrats to you and best wishes going forward. Very inspiring for us all.

Similar situation - one year maintenance. I must force myself to start over as a newbie and get the scale out, measuring cups, etc. It helps to focus and above all log :). Stay strong!
-
Congratulations. You are so inspiring to us all and look so happy.

I too avoid the scale when I know I won't like what I see. Have to make myself do it to reset the mfp setting and goals as it works both ways. Treat it as a "fresh start" like you just discovered this site and the logging process - get the scale out and the measuring tools to stay focused. You can do this. Stay strong.
-
I think this is the true test of commitment - post holidays! Staying focused is key. Stay strong - you can do it :).
-
Take a week or two at maintenance and wait until after the holidays. You may feel like you just needed a break. There is only losing, gaining or maintaining. There is no quitting. You can do this. Stay strong.
-
That is so inspiring. Similar stats and same time frame for losing. You are doing great and looking so fit!
-
If possible, try not to eat out so much at the beginning to gain some momentum and avoid food triggers. If you do eat out, ask someone if they want to share a meal or to split a burger, and you'll both save calories and get what you wanted. Then, you still can eat a little cake too and feel like you are part of the fun.
-
Congratulations on the maintenance! That is so much harder than losing imo. Stay strong!
-
Well done, very inspiring!
