As you are maintaining at 170 pounds how you are currently eating you will have to eat less to maintain at 165. If you lose 5 pounds and then go back to eating how you are now you will go straight back to 170 pounds. Put your stats into MFP, set your goal to 165 pounds and at a rate of 0.5 pounds a week and eat that amount…

So you're entire town can only book an appointment for the day they ring? I find this unlikely. I live in the UK and i know that every doctors I have ever rang or been to allows you to book for future days - it may not be soon, but it's an appointment.

Swimsuits are also making a comeback amongst fashion, for a while they weren't. Now they are trendy again, it is likely to see a decrease in bikinis and a rise in swimsuits. Until Bikini's become fashionable again...

But I drink a bottle of diet coke between lunch and the end of the work day to keep me full and to stop me snacking. Seems to work!!

I weight myself erryday!! Except for when it's TOM because the scale makes no sense and for the week I do not have the rational thought process to think about fluctuations

It could just be your body shape. some people have got *kitten* and some people haven't. Same with boobs!

You're losing weight at around half a pound a week, nothing wrong with that! Just keep it up, might be due a whoosh sometime soon.
