  • I'm totally in - I managed a great week on plan then blew it with 3 cheat days - not even sure they count as cheat days if you run them back to back?! The wedding is awesome motivation...let's do it.
  • 5/1/17 - 163 11/1/17 - 160 18/1/17 - 162 24/1/17- 157.5 1/2/17 - 158 8/2/17 - 155 15/2/17 - 152 22/2/17 - 153 1/3/17 - 153 8/3/17 - 152 15/3/17 - 151.5 1.5lbs from goal and I've started exercising so I'm not going to stress the slow rate. Diet has been OK but still not totally on point. I think my brain is transitioning me…
  • Haven't checked in in a while as life has been pretty busy, buying a house, kids parties, birthday planning etc etc. SL is going well, I'm into my 2nd week now and after getting all my reps yesterday will be doing everything with the bar rather than improvising with plates for the low weights going forwards! Yey! Yesterday…
  • Hi All, strong lifts newbie here, haven't lifted for about 18 months and never really followed a set program before, just did the lifts I liked and avoided anything overhead! Did my 1st work out last night and loved it. I've started light, at the weights recommended by the app, as I'd rather build up slowly and get my form…
  • I'm 1lb down so far this month but I'm pleased with that - it's been an ugly couple of weeks on the diet front, feeling back in the groove now though!
  • Thanks All, My birthday isn't until the 20th but I'm treating myself early. Out for dinner with friends tomorrow...steak and veggies all the way - picked the restaurant specially for it's low carb friendly food and lack of desserts that I like! @TravellerRay I'll definitely be starting slowly - I currently have the…
  • @fanncy0626 I'm super excited! I used to use weights regularly but gave up when my gym doubled their membership fees. I'm planning on starting with the bar (7ft olympic...so excited that it's mine!) this time but hoping to see improvements pretty fast. Never really made much progress with my squats (3 x 8 @ 40kg), I was…
  • Those are awesome side effects! Well done on all of your achievements so far.
  • Great job all - it's really inspiring to see all the positivity and goal reaching going on. Feeling good this week so hoping to stay the course with my goals - more water, less carbs. Easy right?! My barbell and rack should arrive this week and I'll be starting strong lifts as soon as it does. Happy birthday to me!
  • Welcome Back. I'm still not fully back on board after 3 months of trying, there are goods and bad days and probably always will be. Good on you for coming back, I hope you find what works best for you.
  • Thanks @fanncy0626 I am indeed here! My wallowing isn't going to plan - the scales are finding new ways to torture me - I'm a full lb down. While that's awesome, it's also confusing, I guess CICO trumped carbs this week. No matter, here we go again. Congrats to all on the wins so far
  • 5/1/17 - 163 11/1/17 - 160 18/1/17 - 162 24/1/17- 157.5 1/2/17 - 158 8/2/17 - 155 15/2/17 - 152 22/2/17 - 153 1/3/17 - 153 8/3/17 - 152 I don't know how, it's been a week full of carbs and generally devoid of nutrition, but I'll take it.
  • There is no point typing anything other than *kitten* *kitten* *kitten* *kitten* *kitten*. I have failed massively for over a week, no thought, no control, no will power, no logic. I was showing a 2lb gain on Saturday and that isn't going to have improved by weigh in tomorrow AM. I would have taken going over my carbs in…
  • South West here too - sunny Somerset (but no accent!), feel free to add me
  • Ate chocolate biscuits, again.... (****hangs head in shame***** ) Yesterday was good, today not so much. But! I can still get my water in and ensure my carbs don't go over 60g.
  • Fellow low carb eater here, feel free to add me. Also check out the low carber daily forum - lot's of helpful advice over there!

  • Up there among my favourite snacks but I have to watch the carb count on the peppers or I can easily go over board. They're awesome in salads too.
  • Yesterday was a bust...but I logged it so that's kind of winning, right? Today is going well - on point with my carb intake, already managed 1l of water and I'm ordering myself a barbell for my birthday, used to love weights but let it slide when I gave up my gym membership.
  • I'm late but I'm in. 5lbs for March would be awesome and take me to the bottom of my GW range. It's my birthday on the 20th so hoping for 3lbs (UGW!) by then... March 1: 152 March 8: March 15: March 22: March 31: start weight: 152 goal weight: 147
  • 5/1/17 - 163 11/1/17 - 160 18/1/17 - 162 24/1/17- 157.5 1/2/17 - 158 8/2/17 - 155 15/2/17 - 152 22/2/17 - 153 1/3/17 - 153 That's what pigging out at the weekend will do for you. No more sneaky (un logged) bites of carby stuff for me, I need to tighten up. 2lbs to GW and 19 days to do it!
  • I'm in. 1. Keep carbs under 40g/day 2. Water. I will drink it. 1.5l/day. Surely it can't be that hard?! 3. Stop sitting on my *kitten* - minimum 30 mins activity 2 evenings per week and up every hour at work. After the excitement and upheaval of last month I think I'm going to keep it simple for March
  • My NSV was being brave enough to get rid of my big clothes. Sold them online (minus 1 dress and 1 pair of jeans that I just love too much!) and posted the last package off today!

  • I had a really sweet tooth when I first started eating this way. I'm with @Sunny_Bunny_ 85% dark chocolate works well for me. It's something I can have a small amount of, which satisfys my craving and doesn't spark a craving for more of anything. I generally find that my sweet cravings are worse when my fat intake drops,…
  • I used to be a snacker, it didn't matter if I was hungry or not, as others have said it was a habit when bored etc. I could still easily be a snacker, but I have fiddled with my diet so that I am now eating more fat and protein, it keeps me feeling full and helps curb the urge. Hope you find something that works for you
  • I've been eating LCHF for around a year now, and I've certainly been there. I still occasionally eat all the carbs (and rarely the good ones - this weekend I had a Nutella and banana French toast sandwich!). Like you, I try to think of it as a blip rather than a major disaster, I'm planning on eating this way forever so…
  • I cut out coffee after 11am. I work in an office where the kettle is constantly boiling so was drinking around 8 cups a day. I'm not good at hydrating (I don't like water) but switching coffee for herbal tea eliminates some calories and carbs (I take milk and sweetener) and gets my water intake up. I've changed my eating…
  • Well, that escalated quickly! From doing so well all week I turned into a carb monster on Sunday....Roast dinner with all the trimmings and a small dessert for Sunday lunch, Nutella and banana French toast at 9pm washed down with a couple of squares of dark chocolate. Think I'm going to pretend I was carb cycling! Back on…
  • You look great, congratulations on all your hard work and success so far. Personally I'm an exercise-phobe but HIIT is always my go to. Best of luck to you
  • @nikoba @anglyn1 so sorry that you are both having a rough time. Sending kindest thoughts your way :( I'm having a strong week. Carbs in range, calories on point, feeling strong and settled, still lacking on fluid intake that isn't coffee but I'm better than I was. Bring on the weekend!
  • I am currently the lightest I have been for 9 years at 153lbs - I am finally back to my pre 1st baby weight (I was 22 at the time!). Part of me thought I'd never do it, part of me still isn't totally sure how maintainable it is...but I'm here and actually, having found a way of eating that works for me, it hasn't been too…
