I also wake in the night for a wee and find myself really hungry and excited for breakfast time! I thought I was because I wasn't eating enough during the days.....didn't think if I as my mind rather than hunger
-
Thanks! I've ordered myself a Polor watch & HR monitor as they are better for tracking workouts apparently
-
I agree with what's been said about diet. I workout on days that I'm going to be eating out/eating at my parents or friends etc as I can never be 100% accurate on calories then.

On my scales I put the empty bowl on, then zero the scales. Then I add whatever it is I want to weigh into the bowl. You're way does work too though.
-
Haha okay thanks guys. Making me feel better =) shall just ignore it.

Sorry I'm not experienced enough to advise you but I look forward to hearing people's responses too. I also started on 1200, yes I lost weight but I was hungry, always tired and always really cold and couldn't warm myself up! Increased my calories to 1400 and feeling much better. Can't comment on weight loss yet as I've…

Sorry i dont follow. Is your TDEE what we should be losing to lose weight? ? According to that calculator my TDEE is 1900.....

Start eating back your exercise calories, maybe half of them? Your body needs more fuel I think.
-
Thanks for all your replies. Think I will refrain from getting one just yet.
-
Eat half of your exercise points/calories. Your body may need more fuel.
-
That's normal for the scales not to budge one week. Keep with it!
-
You shouldn't go below 1200 so I would say yes you need to eat your full allowance. Not good for your body to go below 1200
-
Yes I'm aware the exercise calories are not accurate on MFP. Thank you so much dubird, your advice has been great.
-
Are you male or female?
-
Dubird thank you for that great advice. I am 27 years old and do moderate exercise 3 times a week. Spinning and Zumba but i try not to eat back my exercise calories. Maybe I should drop my calories to 1400-1500 then????

My BMR is 1549???? It's lovely reading your success stories.

Wow that's your maintenance?I'm on 1660 to lose weight which is more then your maintenance haha. I was on 1200 for about a month but after reading articles discussing if was healthy or not, I decided to go with what the NHS recommends me my intake to be to lose weight. Only changed it yesterday so hope I still lose. Will…

My thoughts exactly!! From my own research eating 1200 calorie or less isn't healthy. What I recommend is to use the NHS BMI calculator and it tells you how many calories you should eat to lose weight healthily without putting your body in danger. I was on 1200 calories for about a month and I was so tired, always cold,…

Thanks guys! Have been reading up on basal metabolic rate (BMR) and am horrified that 1200 calories is not enough for my body to function properlly!! According to a BMR calculator I need 1600 for my body to function and lose weight safely. Will give it a try and see how I go!
