Awesome!!

I started doing the insanity workout program. Lol. I loved it. Then I got introduced to lifting & loved it even more.

24 yrs old. 5'3 CW: 135 GW: don't have one lol. I don't really focus on the scale. I love lifting & eat with moderation. It's more of how I feel about myself then what the scale says. Feel free to add! Usually hit the gym everyday.

A year an a half ago. I woke up one morning & did not like the way I look. It just hit me. Then since then, been working my butt off. Started with being obsessed with the scale then I realized it's about how I feel. So I don't even remember the last time I looked at my weight lol.

Great job!!!

Yeah! Especially when I try new workouts. Lol
-
Are you a fan of pre work out? It helps me with the boost!
-
I know I'm not a trainer but when I see a guy trying to do a deadlift with 100lbs & he's bending his back, I'm pretty sure with a past injury or not, he's going to mess up his back.
-
I love insanity! Lol. But that's awesome! Good luck finishing it (:

Ranges from an hour to an hour and half. I'll lift weights first then do some kind of cardio at the end. On days I really feel the pump I'll be there for 2 hours.

Run 10 miles?!? Omg. Lol. Wish I could do that.
-
I used too! I loved it!

I went to bodybuilding.com to find a weight training program to help. You can try that out.

I've recently used cellucor c4 zero. Gives you the energy you need but doesn't give the jitters. Contains zero creative & beta-alanine.

You look awesome! Well done! Keep it up!!

My face & waist.

Awesome job! Keep up the great work.

Awesome job!!

So does that mean Monday - Friday you do all cardio then Saturday & Sunday do some stength training? Lol. Either way "rest days" doesn't necessarily mean not do anything but your body does need to rest or you will over do it.

Once I'm healed & comfortable working out, what are some things you guys do to help prevent it? My doctor told me core workouts to help build the muscle & lower back. I asked if a weight lifting belt would help & he said it could. I just don't want to stop doing leg workouts or lower back workouts because of this, I just…

He had me do some stretches & asked where the pain was. But no other tests.
-
No he didn't.
-
He didn't really say anything specific. He said to look rehab sciatic nerve exercising & stretching But he also forewarned me about over stretching. Lol
-
****update. Went to the doctors today. It is a sciatic nerve. Greeeeat. So no working out for 2 weeks until the steroids help with the inflammation. Thank you everyone for the suggestions though. Highly appreciated.

No gym for me. Got an appointment with my doctor tomorrow. Whatever this is, it sucks & I want to treat it before it gets worse because it's starting to hurt more. Lol.
-
I guess I shouldn't say horrible back pain lol. More like achy when I don't exercise but when I bend over to stand too long, it starts to hurt, sometimes a lot. I've been taking it easy from the gym.
-
No dead lifts. But I do squats & bent over rows. Not even heavy weights though! I'm thinking my squats could be the wrong technique. I'm trying to get better at those.
-
Hey Samantha! You're more than welcome to add me! We can both motivate each other on our journey!

Thank you everyone! ((:
