If you're not following atkins you leave it at 20 Dont get me wrong I have days at 30 and days at 10 but keeping as close to 20 will have you feeling great. I <3 keto

Honestly it's a lot of meat and green veg with dairy. Bunless burgers Taco salad You can sub out so many carb items from your normal foods and replace them.

I started with 1 month of no added sugar then 1 month of no heavy carbs (bread, pasta, rice and potatoes ) then i started tracking. Almost 3 months in on very low carb and 35lbs (16kg) down

Low carb works amazing for some people. Some people cannot commit to it. I personally find it easier to stick to and I do not feel deprived. On all high carb lower fat weight loss attempts I felt like I was missing out on everything. I have higher protein and do not eat heaps of fat. You need to find what works for you.

If you're worried about eating alllll the calories maybe log your food for a few weeks if your doig ok try not logging it. I personally have got to count or I don't move any weight.

I get the comments from friends who say they could never give up carbs thats all the yummy food. Bread, pasta, rice and potatoes all need things like fat and protein to make them yummy IMHO. Gimme the meat, eggs and cheese! I make a fauxtatoe salad that blows them away

What are your macros and hieght? How well are you sticking to it? At 20 days most people are fat adapted. Upping carbs won't help if you are fat adapted, I'd wanna look at your protein and electrolytes

28pounds over 9 weeks. I was flirting with lchf for 2.5 years, I've been serious for the last 9 weeks. I find that frame of mind is very important. The most I had moved prior to my decent frame of mind was about 12 pounds.

No such thing as too little carbs. Some people do zero carb. Your main concern should be getting enough protein to not lose muscle. Carbs and fats are not a goal to be reached each day. Most days I eat 10 to 25 total carbs. So normally 1 to 10 net.

They're not reliable for everyone, they are designed to detect ketoacidosis in diabetics. Not everyone who is in nutritional ketosis will continue to see a change on them once fat adapted.
