I've done it and I like it. I did the program (minus the meal plan) last year and lost some inches. It's funny because my husband walked in on me doing it and he was like "That dude sounds like a wrestler!"

I did Insanity quite a few years ago and screwed up my foot from all the jumping. :( I also didn't lose a crazy amount of weight or inches. In all honesty the cardio that really gives me the most bang for my buck are the Billy Blanks Tae Bo workouts. Seriously. I've been doing them 4 times a week since the beginning of…

Sometimes shakes are just easier to make. I make them for breakfast more often than not and they keep me full for the majority of the day.

There are a lot of beginner yoga DVD's out there that go through the moves slowly with explanations of exactly how to do it.

The OP didn't but someone else said: (Sorry, I should have quoted the person who said it).

Wait, so because someone left this recipe on your desk it means they're trying to sabotage your diet? Now perhaps if they made the recipe, gave you one and sat there and made sure you ate it -- or better yet force fed it to you -- I could see how it could be sabotage but leaving a recipe? Not getting it.

I take 50 billion Renew Life Ultimate Flora. I also (try) and take a prebiotic as well.

No because I don't want to go back to school and take AP and kinesiology.

I think there's a formula out there somewhere on the interwebs to calculate what the actual calories are in the juice itself. I just use the calories from the non-juiced fruit as I'd rather be over than under. There's a great website that has some good juice recipes. I've made a few from it and they've been good (with the…

Please point out where I said I wouldn't care for someone who DIDN'T make a sanctimonious I am holier than thou because I don't eat meat comment because I can't seem to find it. If you feel the need to lecture me on why my choice to eat meat is bad then yeah, I'm not going to particularly like you. If you respect my choice…

^^ That right there is the reason I don't particularly care for vegans. It's that sanctimonious "I don't eat meat therefore I am way better than you" attitude. I have had to sever ties with many friends who had that attitude. You don't eat meat or wear fur or leather for whatever ethical reasons? That's awesome but please…

Obviously you didn't read what was posted.

Absolutely. And yes, you can get fat off of eating fruits and vegetables if you're consuming more than you're burning. Just because they're fruits and veggies doesn't mean they have negative calories. If you don't log them you could be underestimating what you're eating.

How can you be absolutely sure they're donating to the charity you've selected and not just pocketing the money? My guess is there's really no way to know. I'll continue my donations to a local charity where I actually know the people the money is helping.

Add one day during the week and see how that goes.

Um, OP is doing a running program. C25K = Couch to 5K so reps/weight is really a moot point.

I lift 5 days a week (shooting for 7 every other week) and do cardio 4 days a week, sometimes 5 if I decide to throw in a treadmill walk on the weekend.
-
I do fasted cardio because I exercise before breakfast.
-
is there a TL/DR version?
-
You probably didn't add the cold water.

I'm definitely not a morning person but 5 days a week I am up at 4:20 and at the gym by 5. It's just something that you have to force yourself to do. Once you get into the habit you're going to be loath to break it. It took me a while to get back into the early morning workouts. Knowing that if I don't go early means I…

I made my husband dinner when we were dating. It was supposed to be chicken and biscuit casserole, kind of like a chicken pot pie in a casserole dish and the crust was biscuits. Instead of buying regular ones I bought the grands and it sucked up every ounce of gravy and I was left with a nasty, dry, tasteless mess. My…

I go to the gym 5 days a week (every other week 7) and do cardio 4 days a week (sometimes I'll add something in a light treadmill walk on the weekends if it's an off gym day and I have nothing going on). The only time I'll take a rest day -- meaning absolutely NO workout at all -- is if I'm absolutely exhausted and just…

In all honestly it depends on what you like. I personally like my pop corn popped in coconut oil. Regardless of how you do it popcorn is healthy.

I can understand not going to bed right after eating because some times it's very uncomfortable but there's no reason a person should only eat between a certain time.
