I have found it difficult to post (haven't done so since early January I think). I have been crazy busy with work, and now my training schedule is nuts. I'm wanting to hit 160km (100 miles) in February. I've missed the regular posting here, so hoping to at least get some in this month. Longest race to date was my HM in…

@mnlittlefinn thanks so much! This is my first full marathon so I'm nervous and pumped as well. There is soooo much information on the net, which is great on the one hand, but is overwhelming on the other hand. I see you are marathon training as well - when is yours scheduled for?

Hi everyone...I haven't posted since the beginning of the month. I ran my half marathon (first) in early November and have been plagued with IT Band issues since then, making both knees to painful to run. In physio/massage/accupunture 3x per week right now. I have missed tracking with the group, but was feeling down about…

Hi everyone. I haven't posted in over a week. I made my October goal of 160km. Pumped as I took part in the awesome running events virtual challenge so I qualify for my finishers medal. I have been hyper focused on my HM (my first) which occurred today. I was excited. It was so much fun. I really struggled for the last…

@mobycarp that certainly sounds like progress. Prayers out to you that your healing continues! @ohhim I'm inspired by your ironmans. Being new to running, that seems like such a far pipe dream for me. @mmteixeira I love all the data on your gadget. I just have a Fitbit so the info is pretty bare bones.

I haven't been on in bout 4 days. Work and training has been super busy. I missed almost 300 posts! I'm trying to get through everything but trying to keep track to respond to people is challenging. I got through a few and am responding here but now I'm losing track! So, perhaps for now I'll just extend apologies to…

Advice time again... I have my first HM coming up on November 6. My longest run to date was this past weekend a 15km run. So...feeling good about being ready for 21km in 5 weeks. Question...after my Nov 6th race, how much time should I give my body to recover afterwards? Not sure what to expect.
