I don't know why people are giving you grief about this. Yes there are some dishes where oils and butter add to the flavour but others where its just used as a cooking aid and in those cases it's much easier to moderate the amount using a spray than pouring. I really don't have a steady hand so free pouring oil could end…

Now that I work from home I've found that shifting all my meals forward a bit works the best for me. I tend to eat breakfast at around 9-10am, lunch at 2pm and dinner at 8pm. When I was in an office I felt like I had to eat lunch at 12pm to be sociable and I'd never really be hungry then but be starving at around 3-4pm…

I see this complaint all the time but I'm an apple shape and at least in the UK this has not been my experience. Jeans that fit my waist (around 30 inches) are always so saggy around my bum and my calves. It drives me mad. I don't think they actually make jeans to fit anyone!

If I don't have many calories to spare I will go for a slimline G&T but if I know a night out is coming up I'll usually try to save a few calories during the week so I can have some tasty craft beers.

I second fibre one bars. You get a little sugar hit but its also filling due to the fibre

I used to add egg whites to things like smoothies for some extra protein but in actual egg recipes (omelette, scrambled etc) I've gotta keep the yolk. Its where most of the flavour is.

My rule is if I can walk there in less than 45 minutes I walk it

It's up to you but I would record it as the previous day as I like to start with a clean slate in the morning

From the article: For the record, I don’t personally want to lose weight and I don’t care if you do. Hmm I think the tone of this article disputes that. If you were truly happy with your size why would seeing other people's weight loss matter to you?

Same in the UK both Mars Bar and Milky Way have nougat but Mars Bar also has caramel and is usually a bit bigger.

You look great. If I may say so you, definitely have the bust for the late victorian/edwardian look.

Do you belong to a gym or have you ever belonged to one? Yes I belong to a local leisure centre with a small gym Do you think its worth it? Yes. I don't have the space or money for the equipment I need (barbells, bench, treadmill, cable machine) so its worth it to be able to use these. The more you use the gym the more…

I use a Mooncup and have never had any problems with leaks at the gym other than the original teething problems. However I have a light flow and no children. I do, however, always make sure to empty it before my workout to limit the possibility of leaks.

I love the range of Indian food we get in the UK. I was amazed that Indian food in London is totally different to Indian food in Birmingham which is different to Indian food in Manchester etc.. I love the South Indian cuisine that I can get in my area (South West London) but I do miss the brummie baltis!

My next goal is to get my trend weight down to 135. I've hovering around 137 (135-140lbs) and I want to get to a lower range of 133-137lbs. I'll stay there for a bit and then try and finally push below 130.

It is for me. I do really well at logging my calories during the week but I will then got out and drink at the weekend and between the calories in the alcohol (craft beer has a lot of calories) and the difficulties of estimating and logging bar food I can completely wipe out my deficit. I wouldn't say that I drink to…

Yes. I weight myself every day. Sometimes my period might cause a fluctuation (although not every month) but it all evens out in the end

I agree with all those recommending keeping active. I eat more on vacation but I've darn well earned it with all the walking/swimming etc that I do!
-
Are you able to have your phone in your pocket during these labs? You could use it to count your steps if you don't want to get an activity watch.

Every time I make a recipe this trips me up!

Maybe I just like my coffee fairly strong but I put about 30ml of skimmed milk in it. That's around 10 calories. I don't really know what alternative would make much of a difference.

Yesterday Breakfast: Egg and cream cheese on wholemeal toast Lunch: Carrot and cauliflower soup Dinner: Gorgonzola, fig and speck pizza I managed to stay within my calories but was way under my protein goal so I need to work on that today

Personally I will never look like that. She's a lot taller than me for one thing, her hips are wider and her torso is longer. You should try to look like the best version of yourself rather than somone else.

I tried peanut butter cup this week. It's my boyfriend's new favourite.

I'm 5'3 and I'm taking it 5lbs at a time. My lowest was 132lbs and I definitely feel that I could have got down to 125lbs but I just got lazy with exercise and logging and gained back to 140lbs. I'm now down to 136 and still aiming for 125lbs for now and I'll reassess when I get there.

Just to add. There are many things that I think work best for me in the middle. For example with butter I will eat the 'lighter' version (30% less fat) but not the 'lightest' (50% less fat). There's a certain point where it's just cut too low.

Yeah a slight cadence can make a difference. I make sure to put my scale on the same spot everyday. Maybe you could mark that spot?
