Yup, me too. I don't go way overboard, but you're on vacation to relax, have fun, and enjoy. And dependent on your vacation, especially if you more active, you may burn a lot more calories to compensate. Have fun!!!!

I walk every day. Usually 30-90 minutes. Great exercise, free, easily adjusted, and especially lots of fresh air. I live out in the country so quiet and peaceful to boot.
-
Yup, what I do.
-
It really is and in the end that reward is what it is all about for me.
-
I've thought about buying stuff, but can't because I'm broke from buying smaller sized clothes:):):) Give myself an "atta boy ya made it" and move on.

Walking is pretty much my only mode of exercise. Weather permitting I walk 5-7 miles per day though out the week. On the weekends 8 or so. I don't count steps, only time and/or distance. I have noticed my feet are narrower for sure, but they are definitely longer. I've had to toss shoes I've worn for several year prior to…

A little with the saggy skin, but donating perfectly good clothes because they're too big bugs me a lot, would rather wear them out. Although buying some new smaller sizes is rather ego boosting and satisfying:)

Another vote for not doing surgery. If you lost 17lbs already you have already lost pretty near 20 percent of what you want. Or, you have shown that can do what is needed to lose the weight in what I consider a far better way. I agree with others to thrown the jealousy aspect aside and just continue losing naturally. As…

I've been running on 1590 as per MFP for best part of 8 month no problem
-
Face and neck for me where also an easy see.
-
Agree completely with above....me too :)

Yup, +1 for VintageFeline response.

If you enjoyed the Panera and it made you happy, don't worry about it. The positive of the "treat" mentally outweighs the negativity of a blown day. Refocus and move on.

Agree whole heartedly with your change of attitude and thinking. If you enjoy pizza have some. If you like a beer, have one. Just fit it into your MFP #'s and carry on. I'd rather be happy and a little over my daily goal than miserable and being under. Do a little extra exercise if you have too. Mental happiness is as…

I still have a couple of beers on the weekend. Just walk a bit more to offset extra calories. Some days I walk more than others:):)

It boils down to if you're happy with how you look then who cares. I get it sometimes, but weigh it carefully to if it is a compliment or a put down. If I think it was an intended put down I take it as a jealous statement because they want or can't do what I've accomplished. Make yourself happy and keep up the good work:)

I wouldn't worry to much. Agree with the above posts of fluid retention, I see similar, although much less, results usually every weekend. By weeks end everything has realigned to normal. You had a great time with friends, sounds like you had a lot of fun, remember that not the scales. Refocus and move on:)

I'm male, 58, 6"2', and my daily calorie goal is 1590 as per MFP. I walk twice a day for 30 minutes at lunch and 40 minutes each night, sometimes more, sometime less dependent on day and weather. I worry most about staying below the 1590 and use the exercise calories as a bonus if I decide to eat extra. I started last…

Keep a positive attitude. I look at it in regards to weight loss in general. If you going down you're doing things right. Slow and steady is the best way and the overall goal. You will win in the end:)
-
Yes, eat whatever I want. Lost 59lbs. to date. My main advice is to be very aware of your calorie intake to your daily goal. And most of all read your labels.
-
No, none. I eat what I want, it's just how much of it I eat:):):
-
I mind what I eat, but eat what I want. It's the weekend and I have always had spare calories built up from the week. Plus doing chores around the house burns up a good portion of what/if I go over. Plus I usually go for extended walks, 30-45 minutes above normal times, with my dogs in the forest. As long as you don't blow…

I like chicken wings, chili, and a few cold beers. It's the Super Bowl, I enjoy the day and worry about calories tomorrow:):):):) I'll also burn some extra calories jumping about when the Falcons win:) Sorry.....had to say it:)

I use Flatout Foldit flatbreads. 100 calories each. Neat, tidy, and various flavors. Eat them all the time instead of bread/butter.
-
As per my previous post I walk about 1.5 miles over my 30 minute work lunch break if weather permits. Go home each evening and go about 2.5 miles, about 40 minutes, with dogs regardless of weather through farm fields around my home. Frequently on weekends I head to the forests and walk upwards of 4 miles. I enjoy the…

I'm 57, way over the hill I guess (teehee), and decided to finally dump some weight. My regiment is to watch closely what I eat, how much I eat, and expanded my cardio (walking) a wee bit. I don't measure everything I eat to the gram, eat pretty much what I want, read labels religiously, and rely on my MFP numbers. I'm not…

Indeed I do eat, usually just a bagel though with some jam. I'll take on some water prior to as well. I also just found out that my beans, Starbucks, have a lot of caffeine in them compared to other brands. I may try another brand and see what shakes out too or just drop how much coffee I put in machine. Thank you all for…
