  • Perfect. Thank you!
  • Yeah you would think "Sport" would be a good indication of handling sweat! haha. Unfortunately that is not the case. I emailed Bose, so I'm waiting to hear what they say. I did research before I bought them too, and now I'm reading that excess moisture isn't as good for them. My husband has the sport wireless Beats, but…
  • Also have another question. I bought Bose Sport Wireless headphones in January, and now I've been running a decent amount and here in Florida it has been in the 80s, so I'm sweating a lot. I mean A LOT, and now my headphones stopped working! Does anyone know of a good pair of wireless headphones where if you…
  • I was at 26 miles on 4/24. I ran 4 miles on 4/25 and 3 miles on 4/26. My total is up to 33 miles for the month! I'm hoping to get another few miles in by Sunday to see where the final count is at!
  • I passed my 25 mile mark yesterday. I'm at 26 so far, and have a few more days to go. Hoping to get to 30!
  • I'm losing at a rate of one pound a week, and I started January 2. According to my BMI, I am still 9 pounds overweight, so I know I have a ways to go, but my legs and butt look a lot smaller compared to my arms, that's why I was curious about any exercises.
  • I didn't know losing more than two pounds a week causes gallstones. I had my gallbladder removed three years ago because I had very bad gallstones, and I didn't even know where that came from. I did lose a decent amount of weight prior though. Thanks for the insight!
  • I've been MIA this past weekend because it was my birthday, so I had a lot to catch up on! Amazing job to the Boston marathoners! Such an inspiration to me! I hope one day to do a full marathon. I got in 1.5 miles yesterday at Orangetheory, so I'm up to 19.5 for the month. I'd love to get a run in today, but we have work…
  • Up to 18 miles for the month. Ran two miles at Orangetheory yesterday. I have 7 more miles to go to hit my goal. I hope to finish it by next week, which would leave me an extra week to get more miles in. Yay!
  • Ran a mile at Orangetheory yesterday. I didn't get in any miles over the weekend, which isn't good, but I'm only 9 miles short of my goal, so I'm doing okay. I have 16 miles in for the month so far. This week is going to be tough as I have no time to run Tuesday and Thursday which is when I get my usual runs in. Tomorrow I…
  • Thanks everyone for the input! Hopefully it will go away this week!
  • Ran 1.5 miles yesterday at Orangetheory. So my total is up to 15 miles for the month. 10 more to go!
  • I am the opposite. I have lost inches but not as much weight as I would like to by this point. I know everyone says inches are more important, but that damn scale gets the better of me, and I get upset when I haven't lost any weight. I live by the scale though, so I'm trying to change that part of my journey! Great weight…
  • Oh I agree with the whole lane idea. I think that's what I'm talking about, not slow swimmers, but swimmers who take up the whole lane and don't consider other people who want to swim. Like I said, I've come across a lot of different swimmers. There was this elderly woman at our college pool, who hung onto the gutters and…
  • Thank you so much! I'm excited to pass it and see how many miles I can get in!
  • I had the best run yesterday. I felt amazing. The weather was perfect. A tad windy, but I kind of enjoyed it at the same time. I felt like I was flying, I know I wasn't and I'm super slow, but it felt good. I got 4.5 miles in, so I am up to 13.5 miles for the month. I have 11.5 more to go to reach my goal. I go to…
  • As a competitive swimmer for 18 years, I have dealt with all types of swimmers. For me the most annoying thing about open swim is when people DON'T let you pass them. I have tapped the foot of a lot of people who either ignore my tapping or won't stop at the wall to let me pass. DON'T be one of those people. I love a pool…
  • I ran 3.5 miles yesterday, so I'm up to 9 miles for the month so far. My ticker might not be up to date, as I keep having issues with it! I don't think there will be any running or Orangetheory today because my dog is at the vet, and had us up all night. :( Hoping he's ok!
  • Hey everyone, I have a question for you. I'm not sure if I should be posting this in the "work out" section of MFP or if you guys can just help, but last month was the first time I started running outside of Orangetheory. Before March I would go to Orangetheory about 3-4 times a week, and just relax on the days I wasn't…
  • I ran 1.5 miles at Orangetheory yesterday, so I'm up to 5.5/25. Hopefully getting in a run today, but the weather is not cooperating at the moment! Also, how do I get my updated tracker on here? I updated it on the website, copy and pasted the direct image url here and it keeps going back to 4 miles, and not 5.5. Thanks!
  • Thank you so much for the advice! I've been working out 5 days a week. I do Orangetheory three days a week, and run the other two. I'm building up my running because I want to run the Disney Princess Half Marathon next February, so I'm starting now, since I've never been much of a runner. I've been drinking water a lot too…
  • I was in the same boat with you. I was taking Abilify and put on 50 pounds. My eating was out of control. I ate everything that was bad for you because it was all I craved. I went on and off medication as if I'm changing my clothes daily, but now I found a combination that works. I'm taking Lexapro, Wellbutrin, Lamictal,…
  • Well I got 4 miles in on 4/1. Yesterday was a rest day for me. Today is Orangetheory, and tomorrow I will get in another run.
  • @shanaber I love Orangetheory. It is a mix of rowing, treadmill, and weights. Every day is a different HIIT workout which I love because it keeps it interesting. The other day I rowed about 4,000m, but then on other days I will row only 500m, and do more treadmill work. Weight workouts vary too. Core, upper body, and lower…
  • Aiming for 25 miles this month!
  • Got a mile in at Orangetheory yesterday, and two miles in today. So I completed my goal for the month! I go to Orangetheory tomorrow, so I will have maybe another 1-1.5 to add to the total. I'm glad I made it! I wasn't sure if I would! I'm ready for April, also my birthday month!
  • I have the Series 1 Apple Watch, and I love it. I know I can't use it when I swim, but for everything else it's fantastic. I highly recommend it!
  • Same here. I don't have premium, but the App shows me when I click on the stats for my run. You can swipe to the left to see more information, like heart rate, elevation, etc.
