There is nothing wrong with using a pre-workout before you go to the gym as long as you don't have a blood pressure problem. I use it regularly and find that it does enhance my endurance. I've had no negative affects.

I make egg muffins with veggies. You can find some great recipies online for them. They are quick and convenient.

I get a veggie sub at subway or a grilled country chicken at McDonald's.

When I'm really hungry and don't want to over do it with calories, I have SkinnyPop Popcorn and a Coke Zero. That fills my belly and keeps me going. Especially when I want chips or Doritos....sometimes I need the crunch and salt. ;)

I've had peppermint tea and a small bag of protein gummy bears (only 2gms of sugar). I have also had a small bag of M&Ms with a water to get me through. Hide them all in your purse and you are good to go!

If you ask the restaurant for a nutritional menu, they should have it on hand for you. I know here in Canada it is now the law to post calories on their menu.....it is amazing how much calories a simple hamburger is (1400 for some) in a restaurant. I have even gone so far as to email them and ask for a nutritional guide.…
