And obviously I am exaggerating, but there does need to be some sort of change and false advertising really needs to be cracked down on.
-
Why do they not advertise honestly and offer serving sizes that are realistic? No one eats half a can of ravioli. They eat the whole can, but if they label it as half a serving they can advertise it as 220 calories. Advertising as all natural and healthy when something has added sugars and tons of fillers. I shouldn't have…

I am very all or nothing. I eat perfectly, or terribly. I know I need to find a middle ground, so I put my calorie goal up from 1200 to 1500. However, it makes it even harder because not going over is difficult. Reading these, I think many of you are correct and I am starving by the time I get home, and lose control. Also,…

Thank you all!

I want to be leaner, but have so much trouble with lifting weights and eating healthy. When I exercise I get super hungry and overeat
-
Okay, so it's normal then. Makes me feel better :)
-
@VonicaFlear you just made my day better haha
-
Thank you all! I finally am seeing progress as my sodium levels decrease and my exercise and gym time increases. I just need to realize it takes time.

Hello
-
Is it normal to lose weight and not inches?
-
I lost a pound today! I think I was holding a lot of water, and now I feel back on track. Thank you all, you really helped me feel better.
-
Oh I see! My water intake has went up and since my meals are preportioned they have more sodium than I would like. Maybe that is why.
-
I have been eating only proportioned meals while I get on track. For other stuff I use measuring cups or guesstimate but make sure to really overestimate if I do so.
-
I have to say, I was losing more weight before when I was eating 1800 and exercising more? This was before I got off track.
-
Only thing I can think of is i am on an IUD (hormone based) and have PCOS. But doctor's won't give me medicine because they say I am overweight but healthy.
-
I'll try to stay positive, but I just needed to vent. I feel like something is wrong with me! But also I might just not be patient.
-
You are right. I feel less "weighed down" if that makes sense. And @StaciMarie1974 you are right haha you always give me good advice. :)
-
Also, I have been on my weight loss journey a while and just started really counting calories and being on top of things this past week. Seems like I would have lost a pound or inch at least!
-
I made a mistake :(
-
What I am gathering is I need to grab a handle on my weekends and not give in to peer pressure haha
-
Okay. So maybe I should try more realistic goals such as 1200 and exercise 5 days a week, and the overage I can move to weekends. And you know how it is. You say "I am on a diet" and suddenly people start bringing you food and drinks and telling you to live a little haha
-
What about: 800 per day (total 4000) 5 days a week, and 2200 on weekends? That adds up to 1200 a day.
-
Thank you all
-
I might be overestimating my splurging on the weekends, but when I drink of course it is easy to "alcohol eat". I am trying to not drink alcohol at for a bit, but it such a social thing it becomes hard. I will try to put reminders on my phone to choose diet soda and vodka or something like that. That is a good idea. I will…

Rofl. I need one of those then for my kale chips. Thank you so much.

Someone answered really well up there, but basically PRK does not leave a flap and has less risk but a longer healing process. I like sports and did not want to risk the flap coming dislodged in lasik and losing vision, so I chose PRK. PRK is also recommended by the military and other organizations.
-
Thank you! I am doing much better. My mom is part of the reason I finally went for it, as she had been encouraging me to do it for a long while.
-
Yeah my diet is ruined every weekend cause of alcohol it seems like. Plus, alcohol makes me eat more anyway sigh
-
Me too! I sometimes dip into anemia so I was told to take one, and finally have been on track with having them 5 days a week. I only take them 5 days a week cause I take one each day at my desk at work. I also figure it gives me two days to detox if I got too much ADEK.

On the same thread, do taking vitamins really reduce cravings because your nutrients are being met at a basic level?
