I would say if I'm not actively losing I'm gaining. Last go round was 2017. I lost 70 lbs - gained back 100. And here I am again (second - tenth verse same as the first).

I've been on Wellbutrin pretty solidly for 30 years. I've lost and gained with the best of them. But I wouldn't say it has anything to do with the medication.

I'm 5'10" (now) - I've discovered I'm shrinking, used to be 5'11"... Anyway - now that I'm in my 50s I just want to get to onederland and I'll be thrilled. Well, starting at over 300 lbs it's going to be quite a chore. I started this month at 324.1 and was 317.5 this morning. So here's to 199!

Just wanted to say your posts are very inspirational and encouraging (I'm looking down the barrel of about 125 lbs to lose). Keep up the good work. I look forward to see what all you can accomplish. Lara

Hi, I've just started posting again since 2017. Lost 70 lbs and then proceeded to gain 100 back. Now I'm a week removed from my highest weight ever (324). My ultimate goal is to be under 200, closest I've ever gotten was 212. Anyway - stats are as follows: Age:52 (in 2 weeks) Height: 5'10" Starting weight: 324 (9/1/20)…

Hi, Got room for a 300+? I still cringe when I say that. I can't believe that I'm here. Seems like I was just at 230 and in what seems like an instant it's flying fast in the rear view mirror. So here I am, starting over - again. A week removed from my highest weight ever. I'll be 52 in 2 weeks and I know things will only…

Hi, I'm just posting again since 2017. I've struggled with weight my whole life. Went on my first diet at 8. Did Nutri-system with my mom at 18, lost 60 lbs. - gained all that back. Did opti-fast in my early 20s lost about 75 lbs - gained all that back. Trained for and did a marathon at 30 was in the best shape of my life…

Hello, This is my first post since 2017. I'm a serial (re)starter. Last time I was here I lost 70 lbs and subsequently gained 100 back (unfortunately not the first time I've done that). I'm starting again at my highest weight ever looking to lose about 125 lbs. Age 52 (In 2 weeks), Height 5'10" Highest weight: 324lbs…

You also could be part of the 75% that doesn't gain... I seem to have really weird body chemistry that reacts pretty much opposite to most medications. All that to say - you won't know how you'll react until you try. Here's a helpful table that shows various outcomes regarding weight gain/loss and different psych meds.…

I'm 5'11" and my current goal is to get under 200 lbs. I'll re-evaluate at that point and decide how much further I want to go. I started a year ago at 300 and am at 233 right now.
-
Last year when I started from January through March I lost 32 lbs. (Full disclosure - I'm 5'11" and was 300 lbs)

I read this article http://thesweethome.com/reviews/the-best-bathroom-scales/ and got the eatsmart precision bathroom scale. I've been happy with it. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KQSOPUW/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

@ddafonseca - that's my same goal, under 200. It was also in Jr High for me last time I weighed that. I got close about 10 years ago (212), this time I'm determined to make it.
-
It should continue to a degree - for a while anyway. A year ago when I started I lost 7 lbs my first week, then 5 lbs, then 3.5 lbs then 2.5 lbs. After that started averaging about 2 lbs a week. I also started around 300 lbs.

I was where you are a year ago. I didn't want to live my life having to eat special foods and then fix regular meals for my family. I decided I was going to eat what they ate - or we were all going to eat the same things. Mainly - not diet food. I also wanted to set myself up for success in that I could go anywhere and eat…

@MelaniefromGA - honestly portion control and patience really was most of it. As everyone around here says "CICO." I kept my calories under control consistently and slowly but surely the weight came off. Also - I did start at 300 lbs so that was a contributing factor as well. If I can do it, you can do it!
-
I started at 300 lbs January of 2017 and am down just about 70 in these pictures. Just practiced portion control and patience.
-
5 months, but I also started out at 300 lbs.

Hi everyone. I'm 5'11" - lost 70 lbs through last year. Am still battling the holiday "fluffiness" sitting at 66 lbs at the moment. Started a year ago at 300 lbs looking at getting under 200 this year. Where I'll stop I'm not sure yet.
-
Started out last year where y'all are. Lost 70 lbs (sitting at 65 after the holidays). If I can do it, you can do it. 30 more to go, then I'll re-evaluate. Back on plan 100% for the past week.
