Usually egg white omelette with green pepper, red pepper, onion, and a smidge of shredded cheddar cheese. Oatmeal (quick cooking) with blueberries or any seasonal fruit. One slice of wheat bread with almond butter, and sliced banana on top. (This is really yummy and holds you for hours!) Also always have to have my coffee…

Props to you for taking that before pic. I still haven’t mustered up the courage to do that since seeing the difference will really make an impact on me. I’ll follow your lead and do that today!! You look phenomenal!!

I totally understand the sugar addiction, I had to stop cold-turkey. Funny because a week into using this app, I ate a fun-sized bag of skittles and got a stomachache. Mind you skittles are my favorite, however coming off the sugar has not only helped my weight, but my sleep too. I’d eat so much sugar that I’d go up really…

Cute dog, Jones!! I too need to lose weight. I’ve been on here for 22 days and have lost 8.2 lbs so far. It’s come off in increments (0.2 ounces here, 0.6 ounces there). I’m on here everyday and determined this time to lose about another 40 lbs. My all time high was 206, now down to 169 after years and years of gaining and…

I’ve been reading everyone’s posts (semi-stalking, tee-hee) and wondering if I should say anything but did decide to take the October 1st challenge, so here goes. SW-178 CW- 170 GW for the end of the year-at least 165 Totally doable but having some health challenges right now. I’m seeing a specialist on Thursday to clear…

Fabulo-so!!! Great job to the both of you!! Can’t wait to get to that point in my journey too! Thank you for the inspiration!

Of course add me. I too want to lose about 40lbs, but slowly so the weight stays off. I’m giving myself til next July which is a reasonable goal. Tracking your food/calorie is a big plus, healthy eating-essential, exercise-a bonus, weight-loss is the prize!! We can do this together!!

Happy to have friends, the more the merrier! Feel free to add me Lucy!

You can do this! It will take a bit of determination but it is definitely possible. Once you set your mind to something, you’ve won have the battle. I started using MFP just a couple weeks ago and it has definitely helped me. I now lie in bed when I’m falling asleep and picture how I’m going to feel and what I’ll look like…

I started at 178, now down to 171, trying to hit 130-135 by next July (my birthday). Feel free to add me, I dream about being fit and svelte again, I know we can do this!!

Hi Kathryn! You can do this! I remember when I was 26 and was pregnant with my daughter. I wish someone had talked to me about nutrition and fitness. I would have done things differently. In the 21 years since then, I've gotten divorced (it took me 7-8 years to recover) and lost both my sisters. One to a blood clot in her…

Thats a good question... would I want to know. I think for me, I would. I lost both my sisters at early ages. My baby sister was 35 when she passed, my older sister was 50 when she died of a blood clot in her leg. I immediately went to get tested to see if I was a candidate for that same ailment. Fortunately I was not, but…
