This needs to be a pass day for me. There was an Easter Egg incident....

Does anyone have the subscription version of MFP? I have been using the free version and then decided to try the 1 month trial. The entire layout is too wide for my phone (a Samsung) and it doesn't keep any of my tracking history from before I subscribed.

I'm Lisa. Originally from Northern California but living in London. I'm 43, 6'1" tall and getting into cycling. Highest weight is probably 157ish kilos. I'm starting this challenge at 147.5kg and would love to get to the low 140s by the end of the month. Target weight is the max weight limit for a lot of the things I want…

Yes x 3 for me today. Exercise was walking and 20 mins yoga. @lesdarts180 I hear you (and the NHS) on exercise not being enough to lose weight. I am more active now, eating fewer calories and better calories now than I was five years ago and I'm nearly the same weight. I'm still trying to figure out what calorie count is…

Yes x 3 for me today. Exercise was cycling to the gym then doing a recovery workout which involved a lot of weights. And who knew that VERY DEEP squats were good for working out stiff knees? The rest of this week is going to be interesting for food. We get a box meal service and I accidentally tossed out the meat. So we…

Did I exercise today? Boy, howdy! About 87km cycle including the dreaded Prune Hill. Just under 4.5 hours of active time, average speed around 20km but there were certainly some sprints at and above 30kph. Logged all my food to the best of my ability. Eating in cafes makes exact counting difficult. But if I'm riding this…

Pass day for me. Went for a cycle but the destination ended up being much closer than anticipated. Plus we cycled very slowly so not really exercise. And I went way over my calories. Logged it all, though. So one "yes".

I just found this challenge, so let's give it a go! I'm Lisa. Originally from Northern California but living in London. I'm 43, 6'1" tall and getting into cycling. Highest weight is probably 157ish kilos. I'm starting this challenge at 147.5kg and would love to get to the low 140s by the end of the month. Target weight is…

01 April 2022 Exercise: Yes. Cycled to gym and did weights for an hour with PT. First day back in the gym since the funeral so we didn't go too hard. Logged food: yes, as best as I could. Homemade things like carrot cake are harder to log. Calories: under but only because I skipped breakfast to leave room for carrot cake…

I ended the month with two pass days. My trainer is on annual leave, it snowed, and practice wedding cake in the house: the trifecta of poor dieting.

Hi everyone. I'm Lisa. 44, originally from the States but live in London now. March was my first UAC month and I learned a lot. Hoping to have fewer pass days in April and do more cycling. Good luck!

Yes x 3 for me today. I do not expect to be in the winners circle, but I have certainly learned a lot this month.

I am training for an endurance ride (bicycling) but also trying to lose weight (at least 50kg). On days when I have a normal workout (either an hour of weights or some HIIT on the bike followed by weights, I keep my calories low (maybe 1800 calories) but for long ride days, I hit extra calories (maybe 2300) the day before…

Reporting for yesterday as well. 26th March: pass. Drive home from Devon, logged breakfast and lunch but then we ordered take away for dinner. Didn't log that, it most definitely took me over my calories, and I didn't exercise. 27th March: logged all my food, or did the best I could with lunch at a restaurant. Under my…

@donna25trinity don't get me wrong, if I had any reason to think it was good chocolate sauce, I probably would have had it. But chocolate FLAVOURED sauce? Not worth the calories and hit to my sugar cravings. I like your approach of having a little something sweet every day and I will try that.

Yes x 3 for me as long as I just go to bed and don't fall victim to everything in the vending machine tonight. Exercise was a coastal hike which looked much easier than it actually was. Folks in Devon are a hearty lot! Why do I overeat? It started very young. My father was overweight as a kid but lost the weight in…

Yes x 3 for me today. Exercise was 20 mins of yoga. Two non-scale victories as well today: 1. I've never been able to hold Warrior 2 for two minutes before. But I can today, probably thanks to all the cycling. 2. Despite driving from London to Exeter and attending a funeral, I managed to stay under my calories for today.…

Yes x 3 for me. Exercise was 17.5km cycling to and from gym, an hour with PT focusing on pushing motions but also including 5x20 second sprints on the minute on the WattBike (no, the irony of cycling to the gym to use a stationary bike is not lost on me) with max output 660 watts. Saw a new low number on the scale this…

Yes x 3 for me again today. Exercise was yoga because @Mrs_Hoffer has inspired me and it feels great! Interesting topic. The "one thing" that is hindering my weight loss is the food that I eat. It's definitely worse when I am outside my usual routine of wake up, breakfast, cycle to gym, work from home, dinner with husband,…

I'm back on track today after going overboard at the weekend. Cycled 12km and worked out with a trainer for an hour. Logged all my food (only had two meals as I am STILL full from Saturday!) and I am way under my calories for today. Three yeses from me today. I do find week days easier than weekends. This experience of…

Definitely exercised: 74km on the bike over 3.5 active hours, averaging 21kph. Tried logging my food though 1/6 of Turkish Breakfast from a restaurant in Surrey is hard to calculate. Went over the number of calories MFP reckons I need to lose weight, so that's a no. You asked yesterday why I want to lose weight. I realise…

After saying yesterday that I want to spend the next 14 days focusing on consistency, I totally blew it today. It started with my partner making a "nice light breakfast" that I reckon was 1000 calories. Now, I had planned to have additional calories today to prep for a long ride tomorrow. But that was a LOT. Then we went…

One thing I would like to focus on for the next 14 days is consistency in my nutrition and my cycling. I still haven't figured out how to eat to both lose weight and fuel me through a long bike ride. Thankfully, I have learned to recognise the calorie deficit impact before picking quite so many fights with my husband, and…

What is something that YOU wished that you knew about in your 20s or 30s as far as weight loss or food? Or something that you would go back and tell your younger self now if you could? Something I wish I knew in my 20s about weight: that if I continued eating like I was swimming competitively after quitting the swim team…

16/03 Exercise: Yes. 45 mins with trainer (I was late to the gym) focusing on pushing motions but also including 8x15 second sprints on the minute on Watt Bike, max output was 763 watts. Was low on calories yesterday and the gym workout was very difficult. Logged all my food, yes. Stayed within my calories, yes. Actually…

It's almost 9:30pm here. We finished dinner around 7pm and I'll go to bed in about an hour. Here's the challenge: I want to eat all the cheese in the fridge. Or I want to go on Deliveroo and have a bag of crisps and some cookies delivered. Or maybe I will have a banana and some almond butter.... It sort of feels like I'm…

Exercise: Yes. I did yoga. Had planned on cycling but last night's commute home in jeans was a stupid and painful mistake... Logging: Yes Calories: yes. Today was a low exercise, low calorie day. So tomorrow at the gym will be harder... Only used about 10 of 3 pass days. To be honest, I have not considered a non-scale…

I did it again today! Exercise: Yes. Cycled to and from work (22km round trip) and did an hour with PT focusing on pulling motions (and lunges...there were a lot of lunges!) Food: yes, sort of. I went out for lunch today but I had an assortment of salads at a cafe so I did my best logging what sort of made sense, so I'm…
