Still single but I'm not sure if I want to mingle yet because people are back to being nasty :s COVID restrictions lifted at the gym a few weeks ago, and people suddenly decided that it's OK to not wash hands after using the bathroom or wipe down equipment after use :|

No. I've learned the hard way that sacrificing proper form and risking injury just for some clout isn't worth it.
-
Considering that people have been working out for months wearing masks or face coverings without the need to cut a hole in them, no. You don't get any credit and deserved the disciplinary action you got from the employee.
-
Hit or miss depending on a number of factors, especially with the pandemic happening. I didn't have any success even just trying match with women on Tinder, Bumble, or OKCupid personally. But I had no problem matching with men on Grindr and Scruff.

It's not a bad idea because it'll give you an idea of how many "flex" calories you. But will it prevent messing up? Absolutely not because life happens and we're human. I'm glad that you aren't outraged actually because there's honestly no point in getting angry IMO. Just use this as a learning experience and move on.

I don't hate looking at myself in the mirror as much as I used to :)

You're probably not doing anything wrong since you've been consistently losing weight. 2lbs/wk is a really aggressive rate and usually ends up with MFP setting you at 1200 Cal because it won't allow you to go any lower than that. I'd say just keep doing whatever you're doing, but invest in a food scale if you haven't done…

All I'm gonna say is that COVID has streamlined my response to the age old questions of "Why are you still single?" and "Why aren't you dating anyone?" lmao
-
Scale model building takes up a good portion of my time and money.
-
There's no reason to be mad honestly. Just get yourself together and get back on track because that's all you can really do. Learn from your "mistakes" in a positive manner and figure out how you can better discipline yourself and avoid making them going forward.

For me, it's when I take a break from my usual eating routine without caring too much about whether it fits into my daily/weekly goal. If I can still stay within my goals, great! But I won't beat myself up for going over.
-
2 lbs/wk alone is already considered an aggressive rate. I won't say that 2.7 lbs/wk will be impossible, but it's likely going to be a rough and miserable ride. I've seen too many people set an overly aggressive weight loss rate and get discouraged easily because their reality doesn't meet their expectations.

Been about 11-12 weeks since I started going back to lifting at the gym, and I'm glad to report that I'm continuing to trend in the direction I want to go :)

To be quite honest, he shouldn't be your motivation for wanting to lose weight. If something superficial like your non-life threatening weight is a problem for him, then I guarantee that he has more seriously underlying issues IMO. Since you're both adults, just straight up talk to him like one without beating around the…

Just speaking for myself, I've come to terms with the fact that weight loss and getting in better shape is a long-term commitment that requires discipline. Even if you set an aggressive 1200 cal balance and 2 lbs/wk loss rate for yourself, it's still going to take time to see any sort of meaningful change.
-
So single that not even the NSFW spam accounts want to mingle with me :D
-
As said before, one week isn't really a lot of time to get any really meaningful data and you have to think about the long term. When it comes to weight loss, you're still going to have ups and downs even if you're doing everything correctly. But your long term net change should trend downward in the direction that you…

The "eat in moderation" is the most difficult part of this IMO. For me personally, I know that I have a very hard time snacking in moderation and will overeat when it comes to snacking. So I just straight up don't keep snacks in my apartment with an "out of sight, out of mind" mentality. If you can truly snack in…

This was just supposed to be a weekend fit pic, but my friend decided to comment on my legs lmao

Three times a week at about 1-1.5 hours per session. Even though I'm interested in getting in better shape, I'm absolutely not interested in spending all my time at the gym.

I think this kind of realistic and positive attitude will help you tremendously.

COVID quarantine hit me pretty hard when it started, especially when gyms were closed. Before quarantine, I was down to 193 lbs but ended up going up to 211 lbs. Gyms in my area started reopening last September, and currently I've gotten back down to 200 lbs.

Back when I still had the Xbox 360 hooked up and before realizing the the Kinect was a huge failure for Microsoft, I played a lot of Dance Central, Dance Central 2, and Dance Central 3. It had a couple of achievements that I was interested in unlocking, which was neat (i.e. track and burn at least 100 calories in any mode,…

5'7" and currently at about 200 lbs. I was down to 193 lbs before COVID lockdown and went up to 213 lbs during it until gyms reopened in my area last September. My short-term goal at the moment is to just get back down to my pre-lockdown weight. I think one thing I've been better at this time around is not getting…

I like the convenience and consistently of eating the same thing every day. Boring and monotonous, but I don't mind it.
