The weight watchers turkey chili is very good. I use ground turkey, kidney beans (drained) tomato sauce, canned tomatoes (Rotell) and chili powder. Sometimes I’ll throw in some other beans. It freezes very well so I make individual servings to freeze.

I am 68 and was on MFP for years until my sister died and I just gave up on myself until now. I am starting over at a whopping 206 pounds. Five came off fast( water weight). It’s snowing here in Reno so I will need to find some good workout videos on UTube. Any suggestions?

I walk as much as I can. If it’s snowing I do the Silver Sneakers video on You Tube and others. I am starting over since my sister died in November and I was in mourning. I am ready to get this weight off!

It’s hard but so worth it! I quit cold turkey in 2012 after a blood clot in my heart almost killed me. I find walking outdoors helps and having healthy snacks available. Good luck!

If you don’t cook then pre made salads and low carb/ calorie frozen meals are ok but it’s good to have fresh food if you can. Crock pots are easy. Just throw meat and veggies in with low sodium broth and seasoning and let it cook itself for 8 hours on low. I put chicken and cream of chicken soup in mine.

Make small changes at first so you don’t get overwhelmed. Measure and weigh every BLT (bite, lick and taste) that goes in your mouth and walk! Walk outside in the fresh air and sunshine. I heard Australia is beautiful. Sad about the fires! Good luck!

I eat what I like but stick to the recommended calorie allowance. I try to keep my net carbs under 150. Protein is hard for me to keep up.
