Okay, I did a silly thing. I missed more time then I wanted and then I got anxious about posting again, and that led to this illogical avoidant behavior. I'm sure at least some of you can relate to that. It's like when you get an email and you mean to reply, but you don't do it immediately and then you get embarrassed…

If I'm still allowed to be on the team, I'd like to be! I use the app and it's somewhere between 5 and 2 million clicks, and by the time the various pages load, I'm bored and onto something else. I'll figure it out. I actually forgot my password and have trouble logging in on my laptop, and also, my laptop is extremely slow and sometimes takes half an hour to wake up (that is…

Sunday weigh-in 143.2 PW 140.2 Steps 11/27 (sorry, I don't know how far to go back! 1,597 11/28 769 11/29 649 11/30 11,548 12/1 12,285 12/2 27,681 Okay, I'm generally not technology-challenged, but can someone tell me the most direct way to find these threads? I rarely spend a lot of time on this app, but I find it time…

Haha, I prefer to carry my own water. I like to drink every mile or half-mile, and I find the cups impossible to drink from. I do a lot of half-marathons through a small local company and they have gone mostly cupless (for environmental purposes) and suggest that people bring their own water. I'm just used to it at this…

Oh my gosh, thank you so much for remembering! I developed horrific leg cramps 9 miles in and I painfully shuffled for 17 miles. Don't let the smile fool you.

I'm so sorry I'm late! I've been overwhelmed/busy and I had my marathon on Sunday. I had a lot of problems and have been in bad pain. Sigh. @Itakimasu7 That's a great drawing! I love drawings of food for some reason. You really captured it. I meant to do a face mask this evening, but I forgot. I used to do them with a friend in high school, too. I hope you get relief from your kidney stone and the arthritis flare!

I had some stress and I didn't eat well and I basically stayed in bed for two days. I'm back at it today, but it's too early to post my step count. Honestly, I still…

@Itakimasu7 I tried to add you, too and I got an error message saying something about not having a network connection. Weird! For my first marathon I used Hal Higdon's novice plan, and I mostly stuck to it until I hurt my foot towards the end. My marathon went fine, but I took more time off. This year, I was basically…

@LaurieWrobo Happy birthday! I have a whole birthday ritual, and I always have to have my Starbucks drink!

This was my last real day of marathon training, so my step count is going to be high. I'll post it tomorrow but as of now I'm at over 48,000 steps. I'm going out of town for the weekend, but I should be able to check in. My marathon training has gone so badly but today was my longest run and it didn't go too badly. I am…

I hope everyone had a nice Halloween. I dressed up my cat and she still loves me! I'm glad that I managed to avoid Fun Size candy as I don't get trick-or-treaters. I'm going on a longish run tomorrow and I hope my feet do okay. My feet hurt so bad last time I tried but then I realized that my shoes were old. I switched…

My next race is the Seattle Marathon on November 26. I did it last year but that seems like a decade ago! I'm really struggling! I have a couple more opportunities to "catch up" to where I need to be. Half-marathons are my favorite distance, but I enjoyed my marathon, too! Good luck at yours!

I would also like to do the step challenge. My goal is 10,000 steps a day. 10/28- 45737 10/29- 11240 (edited because I got the dates wrong and then I took more steps)

@Itakimasu7 Eeeek, we have so much in common and even live kind of in the same region, though you probably don't have screaming party people outside your windows at all hours. I'm an artist, too and occasionally teach workshops.

Okay, this is my cat, Mildred. For some reason, I can't upload the picture I wanted, but this one is fine.

Hello! I am here to introduce myself. I'm 45 years old and from Seattle! I have been on MFP a couple of years and I haven't really used the social features much. I used to be on SparkPeople and the social aspect helped so much, and honestly, I'm struggling. I was a very heavy child and I was 250 lbs in my early 20s. I'm…

I also have trigeminal neuralgia. I lost a lot of weight due to it, and honestly I didn't mind. Oddly enough, running helps me. It's a horrible illness.

I've had it twice, once in each shoulder. I had a rough few months where I had it in both shoulders at once. I went to physical therapy. I did push it, but not too hard. Honestly, the most helpful exercise was spelling the alphabet with my arm extended (like I was writing in a big wall). I got more range of motion that…

I just checked my body fat with Athlete Mode on and again with it off. 20.3% with it on...29% with it off! For me, at least, it seems more accurate with it off, even though I find that very disheartening as I have months of data with it on. I'm 5'1" and weigh 130.

I have the same scale and I've been confused about my reported body fat. It's very strange. I previously had a Weight Watchers scale and it would always say I was 30-33% fat. I lost 90 lbs and I stayed nearly the same fat percentage, according to my WW scale. That scale died, so I bought the Renpho, which says I'm at about…

I have been pre-diabetic three times in my life. I have finally gotten off the roller coaster and I have maintained a healthy A1C (it stays around 4.9 or 5.0) for several years. I have never been able to stick to a low-carb diet, but I do try to make sensible choices. I don't eat a lot of bread anymore, and lately I've…
