  • Just popping by to say I’m dropping out and all of the challenges I’m in as life is too complicated at present to commit to ant team efforts. Maybe someday I’ll get back to a more settled regime and mindset and join again

  • I’m not fully in charge of meals till Thursday since I’m staying at Anne’s, but I laughed to myself when we ate out at lunchtime today, Monday, and she said what we're having for dinner because the calories fit beautifully into my calorie range. I’m laughing because it’s kind of like a fiction story in my magazine where…
  • What is your favourite exercise? What time of day do you like to exercise? My favourite exercise is walking, just after breakfast when the light has come in. Walking outdoors is more than just exercise, though, because even if you just get a grunt or a smile there is some face to face interaction with other human beings. I…
  • Nearly played hooky from church but didn’t and still well enough on to leave the tidy up stuff till Thursday
  • JOURNAL PROMPT: WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT YOU? 口TASK: Get outside & connect Sunday journal I’m worth working on healthy options for. I should be proud of what I have achieved outside of food and intentional exercise this last week persevering with my decorating project while still putting myself first and getting out for a…

  • My Saturday Started with a late rise Fed me and the birds Had a 4 mile walk incorporating some incidental shopping I needed Home to a bacon roll for lunch then tackled some more wallpaper hanging And thought I’d hang a couple of strips on the feature wall, had a bit of bother matching the second strip, conquered it and…
  • Morning team. I’m Nan, 69, single, Scottish ( hence I am responding while most of you are still catching zzzzs) I’m slowly adjusting to living alone as I’ve always been a home bird and lost mum in June last year. I am an active member of my local church, taking responsibility when I can for the weeds in 5 flower beds, the…
  • @lindamtuck2018 it’s hard to balance the feeling yukk with the feeling of being inactive. Sometimes you just have to listen to your body and sit. Mum used to say she felt tireder just sitting. My friend pushes herself to get up and move during the tv adverts.
  • My day Started with breakfast, then a walk, a snack,a visit to the hairdresser, a little garden tidy, lunch, then I transformed my first wall, had a snack, a second walk, and dinner and now I’ve gifted myself an evening with the heat pad on my back, my feet up with the newspaper and my magazine. Goodnight
  • My goals for February are Preplan meals within my allowance Walk one hour before breakfast and before dinner 5 days minimum Stay away from the cookie jar unless it’s in the plan Preplan my day so I have the structure I need.
  • @rainyrae well done on a fantastic January. I’m hoping to follow your lead in February. I’ve had lots of issues in 2023 but think I’m turning the corner
  • Good morning cold February. Come on Nan put on and extra jumper and thick trousers and jacket and get out for that walk
  • Sorry to be a pain but will we just transition to February by Sunday? Or do we have to search for it?
  • @lindamtuck2018 glad you like my February charity. I give to charity, I do sponsored things for charities but I was a bit fed up when the minister announced on Sunday that instead of giving something up for lent this year the church elders have decided it would be nice if we donated 6 different specific items we can donate…
  • Hi, I’m Nan (69), single, retired,Scottish female who must have read all the diet plans that have been around and tried lots of them. I have lost weight in the past but it keeps finding me. My February plan is Walk 10000 intentional steps per day as I have done in the past for sponsorship for charities. February’s charity…
  • Temperature down to -5.5c Wednesday morning and just -2.5 c this morning. Both days I wrapped up cosy and walked park and woodland because grass isn’t slippery but tarmac pavements and roads are lethal
  • When I’m outside I like to listen to nature but then I usually walk countryside or seaside but I’m lucky they’re both close by. Now its dreadmill time I’ve found some virtual walks I can watch.
