Add me, I have a decent amount of knowledge with fitness and nutrition. 60lbs. in 5 months isn't impossible and you can do it in a healthy way but you HAVE to be motivated and do "What Ever it Takes".

Sounds awesome. Add me if you like. I eat very clean, keeping watch of my macros and starting to see signs of the six pack. Started back working out in March at a weight of 215+ and this morning I was 182. My goal is to get ready for a physique contest someday soon.

I am in San Antonio but would be more than happy to help out if you have any questions with fitness or nutrition.

You can add me for support and guidance if you like. I have decent knowledge of fitness and nutrition.

I would tend to lean towards the chest strap being more reliable. I had the same question when looking into the FitBit. I came across an article that sampled a bunch of HR monitors. The final conclusion was that the chest strap was more reliable. I use a chest strap (Zephyr) and its connected to my Endomondo app on my…

Ground Turkey. I make a Turkey loaf with either 99% protein or 90% P-10%Fat. I use whole wheat bread crumbs too.

I can look through your diary and give suggestions. I log everyday and even weigh out my food to make sure I am hitting my macros percentages.

As well as Fish (Salmon, Tuna). Black beans have like 9 grams of protein per 1/4 cup dried, Kidney is 7 grams. Pinto is up there too. And yes, its a lot to get to 40-50% protein. Today I ate egg beaters with 3 oz. of chicken breast after my morning workout, Homeade oatmeal cereal with protein powder an hour 1/2 later. 4…

Here is a link to figuring out your macros that I found helpful. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oo3b_5vcS64 Youtube has a lot of great advice but you do have to make your own assessment when deciding which way to go.

How much do you take and how often?

Tortillas are all different shapes and sizes so that makes sense with what your experiencing. I make them from scratch and sometimes their thicker or larger than the next one. It all depends on how I roll them out. Most Tortillas are pressed and there are inconsistencies. Again, this is why its good to weigh everything.…

I take a lunch EVERYDAY and it has really help me take control of all my nutrition. It does take a lot of time and commitment but its so worth it. Where I am at I have a small toaster oven and do quite a bit of baking with it. Not everyone has this luxury but if you do there are endless possibilities. Here are some of the…

First of all your doing great because your on MFP and your trying to do yourself good. Everyone falls off the wagon (so to speak) a time or two so don't worry, you can recover. Secondly, are you working out? If so what is your routine like? How often, how long and at what times of the day? Are you taking any supplements…

In relation to what Pink just said if you start jogging to lose body fat ensure you keep your heart rate at the body fat burn zone. A heart rate monitor by Polar or Zephyr helps and that's what I use. As far as you abs go, try the app "30 day ab challenge". I have worked out for years and I have found that for me that…

That is awesome, Great job. Consistency works. Your correct about the NO cheat days and even if you do have some weak moments still log it, I do. It holds you accountable. Keep up the good work. Good luck.

I'm right there with you. I've been working out off and on for over 20 years. I have had lower back surgery (blown disk), Neck surgery (replaced C5 with a cadaver disc), both shoulders rotator cuffs fixed, both hands and one out of two knees. Currently my back and neck troubles have resurfaced. It took a long time to come…

What 999tigge said. I had the same issue when I changed from my regular scale to a digital. I took some of my dumbells which are very accurate and put them on the scale and calibrated it that way. I had to use either 20-25 to get it to work properly. Good luck.

I agree with what everyone said above me. I just got tired of being tired, gaining weight and just feeling blah. Try this for a motivator......watch Extreme Weight loss with Chris Powell, it actually inspires me when I feel like I'm about to get lazy and sort of dragging. Also, put motivational photos or sayings on your…

Now, about all this MLM stuff. I am a distributor and when I was active I was very successful in the program. The business is like the products......they're not for everyone. Anyone who takes their products has the opportunity to get their money back if you didn't feel the product is working. If the person you bought them…

Let's get back on track here: I don't have any good recipes although I can tell you to follow what they say to NOT eat. When I was doing the cleanse I ate very clean. Lots of veggies and some fruits, NO red meat, Lean Chicken and Fish. I followed that South Beach Diet principles too. The meals were good but didn't follow…
