I will keep mine since it seems to offset the b12 deficiency that metformin can cause. http://care.diabetesjournals.org/content/23/9/1227 And my prenatals, because of that whole trying to get pregnant thing. Yay for folic acid!

I just want to be lighter than my husband.

Yes. Much, much, more of this. <3

One of the things I liked the most about the last marathon I went to (as a volunteer medic) was that it wasn't full of people who looked the same. Some of them were old and some were fat... and the marathon was still for them. They trained for it and they ran it, whether they came in at the front or the rear. I was super…

It's mostly only difficult for me if I'm *served* food, like at a restaurant or as a guest. There's a whole lot of "clean your plate / don't be rude" and "starving kids in Zimbabwe" voices in my head because it's just how I was raised. It's actually the whole avoiding waste thing that gets me eating everything on my plate…

Part of overeating is blowing through the "not hungry anymore" feelings to the "gorged" state. I do have to relearn what that signal to stop stuffing my face is, so I get it. I don't know that I would intentionally leave it behind so much as eat mindfully and learn to be ok without eating everything on my plate all the…

I will second Panache...it was great, even though I just ordered something new to try because my size changed. As much as I liked it, I just thought I'd try something new. I ordered a Glamorise double layer custom control this time to try out. I'm an F cup and it always sort of feels like there might be something *perfect*…

When I tried it, the app was missing like every other item I was trying to find in it. If they would just *use* the MFP database, it would have been just great.

It was also on the Potato: Friend or Foe thread.

This is one of the reasons exercise is so depressing and demoralizing for me, personally. Spend forever just talking myself into going and I get all of 72 calories burned while I'm there. :|

I have not taken Qsymia, but I have taken Topamax (topiramate - which is half of what's in Qsymia) and it was THE WORST THING EVER. I couldn't get out complete sentences, would take like an hour to read a single page.... just the worst case of the dumbs any drug has ever given me. I couldn't stand the cognitive effects. It…

I really have to go look for one of these. My city kind of sucks when it comes to support, so I doubt there's anything like it here, but I'm definitely going to look. That sounds really nice.

Med-resistant dysthymia (which is a lifelong persistent depression vs. the major depressive episodes) and social anxiety here.... Exercise is the HARDEST thing for me. I have had breakdowns just sitting in my car outside of the gym because I can't force myself to get in there, and most days I feel pretty dang accomplished…

I always just take the weight of a serving as a portion of the overall weight... like I'll leave it at 4 servings or whatever and just weigh out my total and my serving, then use division as necessary when I log it (as 1.35 servings or whatever it comes out to) but your way is faster for sure. I'll have to remember that.

I have -never- been able to finish a cardio class. Hell, I can't even make it through the "warm up" half the time. :/

I suspect the US and Asia are, in general, the woo capitols of the world.

Cobalamin (B-12) is not bacteria. It's only synthesized by bacteria and archaea, but it is not a bacterium itself.
-
Nope. It's awkward and humiliating.

I have med-resistant dysthymia and social anxiety and my biggest hurdle is exercise. I just don't have the energy to get out there and do crap like that. I have enough problems with doing things like getting up the motivation to shower most days. Controlling what I eat is much easier for me. I did make a post a while back…

I really want to sign up for one of those tests. That sounds awesome.

I'm on a prenatal vitamin (because I'm actually TTC) and take a calcium supp too because I'm starting to get up in years enough to worry about it. Bonus: one of my meds can cause a B12 deficiency and calcium apparently keeps that from happening. christinev297: The prenatals have more folic acid to prevent neural tube…
