Soba noodles are really filling since they are made from buckwheat. They are healthy and delicious. Just eat a bit less than you think you would normally need and I think you'll find yourself satisfied. I love them and serve them with stir fry often instead of rice.

definitely want to come back to this thread...

I've worked out with the same friend for years but if she is not available, I go anyway and catch up with her later on.

Now you sound like you have an interesting job!

I've been conducting a lot of interviews lately and I can tell you that you should relax, come across as yourself and be sure to ask questions about the role, the team atmosphere, etc. If you do a little homework, you will be able to determine if the place is right for you or not. Good luck!

I completely agree with Sillygoose197. How can you tell the values of a person on one date? You need to take the time to get to know someone and keeping things light in the beginning is only logical. Don't give up yet - there are great people to meet out there. By the way, I just celebrated my 25 wedding anniversary but…

So nice to hear you are in such a rich relationship - congratulations!

You can turn this around. It is not unusual to begin to feel sorry for yourself at times and to expect that you will never slide a bit it unrealistic. Pick yourself up and start again. You do have control over this. I would not continue an exercise that results in continuous pain but find something different. Set some…

The elliptical should have a pretty smooth motion to it and should be working your glutes and upper leg muscles. Check to see if the resistance is set too high for you. I also have arthritis in my knees and cannot do the treadmill but have been working out on the elliptical for years. Try starting more slowly so you get…

When I started exercising many years ago, it took me 4 months to be able to do 20 minutes on the elliptical. Give yourself the time to build up the exercise stamina. The most important thing is to start and keep finding a way to do it. I walked outside at 5:30AM for two years with a friend and had to show up since I could…

Just be natural and put them together when it is possible. Your mom was a bit over the top but so was your GF and they'll either learn to respect one another or not. You really have no control over this situation and leaving either of them is not fair to you. Good luck.

I started getting up at 5AM several years ago when my kids were small. (They are now both grown.) It was a time I knew would not be taken by anything else. There really is no secret except you just get up. I do go to bed much earlier than a lot of people but I'm willing to do that in order to feel so good with the routine.…

The best advice is to find something that you like doing. Don't be afraid to try new things - DVDs, classes, machines, etc. You are more likely to continue if you enjoy the workout.

Some of the whole wheat pastas taste good but has a different texture. They also fill you up with less due to the high fiber. A good compromise in my family (husband also Italian) is the Barilla multigrain pastas. They aren't quite white but not so brown either.

My suggestion would be to smile all the time to celebrate your success. Happy faces always look younger. Congratulations on your success and I hope to someday celebrate my own 50lb loss!

1. SHOES 2. Y membership 3. Good alarm clock to get me up every day at 4:45AM!

I have a similar tendinitis but in a different area on the top of my foot. I finally (after many months) was able to knock it down by using anti inflammatory twice a day for many weeks. I used two Advil in the AM and two at night and the regular use reduced the inflamation so I only get occasional flare ups. Using the…

I drink 24 oz during and after my early morning workout and then try to drink another 24oz during the work day. I do get bored with the taste so I will also drink sparkling water as well. My body also knows when I haven't had enough and definitely lets me know.

A friend of mine said she puts it into oatmeal.

No one ever has noticed my loss until about 20lb. Don't worry, it will happen. Also, once I started to do abs every day, the comments started coming.

How long would you roast it for?

My biggest fear is injuring myself 'cause then I need to stop exercising. Biggest success: When first starting to exercise a dozen years or so ago, it took me 4 months to succeed in doing 20 minutes on the elliptical. I was so proud of myself for sticking with it. Now exercise is such a habit, it feels strange to miss 2…

Boston is a great city - I lived there for 20+ years. A good option for breakfast is Au Bonn Pan - they have oatmeal, bagels, eggs, yogurt. Restaurants serve a lot of great fish so you should definitely enjoy that too. Have a wonderful time!

I love to used the herbed goat cheese in polenta.

I think this approach is the most professional and gets straight to the point. CC/BCC the person who asked you about the status or your direct line boss. Its likely your office already knows who/what he is.
